I stayed at Kuretake Inn in Yaizu over night so I could visit a couple of sights in Yaizu. Kuretake Inn was actually right across from Yaizu JR station (north side), and was only a minute walk from the station. The price was good and the room was clean (with a bed wider than regular twin size ones, fridge, hot water maker, hair dryer). I immediately fell in love with this place and became a member (no member fee) so I can accumulate points to get a free night stay. In the evening, they have "happy hour" and guests can enjoy a free welcome drink. In the morning, they served pretty decent breakfast buffet (both Japanese breakfast as well as toast/rolls, ham and eggs). I also enjoyed a cup of coffee from a self-service coffee machine, which served pretty decent coffee! Although I didn't try it, they have a nice public bath for both men and women.
