Second time here, but first time staying for an extended period. It is in a quiet location and I rather like the grounds a lot. Very ideal if you enjoy taking long walks like I do. We stayed in the newer rooms. Our rooms were in the Petuna building. All our rooms except one had balconies. Ours even had balcony seats which we used to read and lounge. The rooms have everything you would need. We got robes, towels, slippers, enough hangers, tea, water, coffee, a mini fridge, TV and an extra blanket. The bathroom is also well stocked in the shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand wash and lotion sector. No need to bring your own and they are not in those tiny annoying bottles. The downside to the rooms was that they do not provide toothpaste so bring your own. The toilets were not well attached and moved a lot, the shower was lukewarm-cold. I never got hot water for 4 days and it can get quite chilly at night and in the mornings. Water got everywhere after a shower and one extra blanket when there are two beds is not always ideal especially during the cold season. The food is okay. Breakfast is my favorite food of the day and I didn't really enjoy the breakfast. However, this is mostly a conference facility and not necessarily a resort so it is understandable. I like that they light burners at night during dinner. The waiters can be slow and mixed up orders more than once, but there were also those who offered wonderful service. The pasta chef should also listen to orders correctly. I got pasta less pasta, go figure. They should seriously label the kettles especially in the snack area. They should also have none dairy options as more people today are lactose intolerant like myself. The snack area also has very limited options. For conferencing, they have great facilities. For guests who want to come for a weekend lunch, they have a play area, three pools albeit cold, you can pay for bikes to cycle as well. You can also walk towards the lake and see the hippos or better yet take the boat ride to the island to see some animals. They also hold events and I think it is an ideal wedding or birthday celebration venue. They have a gym and spa too. The spa was a disappointment. A lot needs to be improved. The ambience is not spa like at all, and it is not relaxing. One masseuse is too talkative spoiling the mood. Not worth the price. It would be great if they added board games especially Kenyan ones in the rooms for guests to have something to do as families, or even group of friends. Karaoke after meals would be great. Water aerobics in the morning and yoga at the pier would also be a wonderful addition. Overally, I enjoyed my stay and would come again. I know they will improve where...

Nestled on the shores of Kenya’s stunning Lake Naivasha, this resort is a true gem for travelers seeking serenity and adventure. The moment you arrive, the lush, manicured gardens and panoramic lake views envelop you in tranquility. Accommodations are spacious and elegantly designed, blending modern comforts with rustic charm—think cozy cottages with private verandas or luxurious suites overlooking the water. Each room is impeccably clean, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of exploration. The dining experience is exceptional, with a restaurant serving a delightful mix of local and international cuisine. Don’t miss the freshly caught tilapia from the lake, paired with crisp salads and homemade desserts. The staff’s warmth and attentiveness elevate every meal, ensuring dietary needs are met with care. Activities here are unforgettable: sunrise boat safaris glide past grazing hippos and flocks of vibrant birds, including majestic fish eagles and pink-hued flamingos. Guided walks to Crescent Island, a nearby wildlife sanctuary, let you wander among giraffes, zebras, and antelopes in a surreal, predator-free environment. Back at the resort, the sparkling pool invites relaxation, while evening bonfires under starry skies create magical moments. Though the Wi-Fi is occasionally slow, it’s a gentle nudge to disconnect and embrace nature’s beauty. The staff’s genuine hospitality stands out—they go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Perfect for couples, families, or solo travelers, Lake Naivasha Resort offers a harmonious blend of relaxation and adventure. Its proximity to Hell’s Gate National Park adds to its appeal. Whether you’re sipping coffee by the lake or marveling at acacia-dotted landscapes, this resort is a gateway to Kenya’s natural wonders. Highly recommended for an enchanting,...

I hadn’t been to resort in a while, went for a walk in dinner last weekend and on arriving apparently they introduced an entrance fee of a thousand shillings per person redeemable inside; maybe this should have been a sign to go elsewhere cause I was here for the view and there are other hotels by the lake in naivasha… but no, I did not; first let me start with the food. I had issues with the wings cause they had a certain greasy taste I couldn’t place that just didn’t taste right. I ordered a meal that came with roasted potatoes which were extremely underwhelming it felt like boiled potatoes that had been quickly pan fried and brought to the table. My date had a side of mashed potatoes that weren’t perfectly mashed she ended up leaving them there. Our waiter was very cool and understanding so I can’t complain about that. But the icing on this terrible cake was this part: so the entrance vouchers you buy are redeemable when paying for your meal. I forgot about it and accidentally paid the full amount without accounting for the entrance fee. So on asking what will happen the waiter said it can’t be helped unless maybe I take something from their gift shop. I don’t want anything from their gift shop I just want my money so I ask to talk to their manager. That’s when he goes and comes back with a refund form(attached) I fill the form cause they say they’re cashless so I understand there needs to be a process and accountability for all this and he tells me to take the number to the reception for follow up which I do. I have called twice since and all I’m told by reception is they’ll follow it up I don’t know if and when they’ll send my money but definitely won’t be back there again. If you want to go there you can maybe your experience will be different
