Eldoret Country Lodge — Hotel in Huruma ward

Let start with the good. The staff was friendly, was received by a friendly staff member. Infrastructure wise the place needs serious renovations. Rooms are old. Had constant nagging noise of overflowing tank that was flowing outside my room. The noise kept me up late at night. The restaurant needs a total facelift too.

The prepare food on order. They serve local food stuff such as ugali goat meat, chicken fry, boil and wet fry. They have affordable rooms but breakfast is not served as from six in the morning as they will tell you when you are making reservation. Breakfast come late as from 7.00am. This is a hidden gem in close vicinity to Eldoret town but they don't take walk-ins. It's a member's club and it's out of service when the president is in town because it's closed for him. There's everything to do there...
