The Klique Hotel — Hotel in Kimumu ward

We picked Klique Hotel because we saw on Foursquare that there was great WiFi, however that must be an old review because when we stayed there the WiFi did't work at all - we have later been back to eat lunch several times and still no WiFi. The staff keeps saying that "it just broke down yesterday and that they are working on it...." that's the way it have been for the past 3 month = Kenyan style!||||The rooms are extremly simple and the one we got, had just two tiny thiny towels the size of t-shirt (and they did't even look clean) and when we tried to take a shower the shower handle simple broke between our hands! The toilet were leaking water and there is no mosquito net.||||I would't not and have not, stayed there since - simply not worth value for money. ||||However, the restaurant is great if you sit in the small patio overlooking the streets below, it is nice to sit there, day and night watching the busy life of the overpopulated city Eldoret, pass by. The food is average and so is the price - the service is slow but if you have time enough...

I went to The Klique restaurant to have lunch and I was greatly disappointed.||First off, it took forever for a waiter to serve us and the food wasn't anything to write home about. ||Now comes the part that pissed me off, when I asked for a WiFi password, I was told that I had to pay Ksh.100 for a 3 hour usage which is ridiculous for a hotel that boasts to be Eldoret's finest. The network gave me a 10 minute free test usage; what in the hell I'm I supposed to do with 10 minutes of internet? ||There are stickers at the door that indicate the acceptance of cards as a form of payment; however, when I went to pay with my Visa card, I was informed that it does not work. Then my waitress came back to tell me that they can accept it but they'll charge a processing fee that is 10% of my bill. Needless to say, I had to leave my sister and friend in the hotel so I could go to an ATM and withdraw some cash.||||Worst lunch experience in Eldoret, I could have had it better...

The sink water is like honey, you have to go to the showers to wash or brush your teeth. I am not saying they are bad, but yiu have to wait for the tap water to trickle to your hands. Please if you can increase or not limit the water quantity I will review, but for now No. One of my first negative review ever. I am sorry you have to change your view to get good review.
