Villa Waridi — Hotel in Shella ward

Came here for a weekend break from Nairobi. The house is beautifully presented on just under 2 acres and about a 5 minute walk from the beach. The pool is large and nicely kept.Transport is cheap and easy to the town (which is a couple of kms) and back if you dont mind tuk tuk or boda boda. The hosts/owners Erica and Daniele are great people and go out of the way to make sure you are accommodated in every way. Got a free tour of the town and a lift to the airport on leaving. The guys they employ are also wonderful and friendly. Personally I find the experience of staying here better than one of the high end hotels that are close by. You get far more for your money and are made to feel a bit more special.||Highly...

Villa Waridi è stato il luogo perfetto per il nostro soggiorno a Malindi! Non avrei potuto desiderare luogo migliore per godere a pieno una vacanza con i fiocchi. ||Tipica costruzione in stile .... curata nei minimi dettagli. Dispone di una piscina che è la ciliegina sulla torta per concludere la giornata al top scambiando due chiacchiere e sorseggiando una Tusker!!||Colazione ottima preparata dal super Shiringa (il cuoco) che ogni mattina ti sorprende con banane fritte, pancakes, crepes, frutta fresca e chi più ne ha più ne metta!! Presi dalla curiosità e dalla bravura del cuoco un giorno ci siamo fermati anche a pranzo e cena e fidatevi...ne è valsa la pena tanto che la maggior parte delle cene le abbiamo consumate in villa..cene di pesce, aragoste, swahili, carne gustate all aperto in compagnia sono sicuramente da parte mia consigliatissssime (e per i più nostalgici sono disponibili anche ottimi gnocchi al pomodoro fatti in casa ;))||Poi che altro....ah Daniele e Erika :) (the last but not the least..anzi) !!! I padroni di casa, che per noi sono stati più di questo direi Un punto di riferimento, hanno condiviso con noi le loro conoscenze e ai quali si può fare affidamento su tutto dalle informazioni turistiche alle risate intorno al tavolo!||Consiglierei a chiunque Villa Waridi, dalla coppia alla famiglia al viaggiatore singolo e personalmente ci ritornei mille...
