Also the entire apartment flooded with toilet water. Although I do understand this came of the heavy rain from outside (flooding) - it was more how slow she responded to it and not being pro-active at all.

Obviously no partly refund.

I did get another room but then I spent the entire evening & night in the pitch dark with no electricity or light.

She then did call me in the evening, but she called me with a sad story and asked me to pay her electricity bill so that the light could go back on.

I had already paid my bill but since she apparently thought that I had some extra money to spend (mzungu money) she thought it to be no harm to ask for extra money for paying an electricity bill.

I do live part-time in Kenya and I am used to the biased opinions and treatment of Kenyans in regards to foreigners but I really didn't feel good about this at all. Asking for more money than necessary I only realized afterwards that I was staying in the dark because she didn't pay her electricity bill on time.

Last thing, I had also asked beforehand whether I could bring my dog over for company as I came fresh out the hospital (8 nights due to a heavy illness). She accepted it if I paid extra money which I did but locked up my dog in the house when I had to go out for a check up in the hospital and I could not bring her with.

She refused to check on her and even though I thought she was in the house itself, she was locked up in one room (bedroom) instead for the hours that the hospital visit took. She panicked of course.

She seems to be very money centered and keen to do or say...

We booked the accommodation because of its proximity to the airport. We landed late in Nairobi and were almost 2 hours late but Charles took us directly from the airport to the accommodation. The next morning Milany made us breakfast and Charles drove us into the city centre. Super hospitality! The accommodation is a bit out of the way and you need a car, but we would definitely book it again for a night before or...

Millany homes is A1. Don't look any further. With my own personal experience,I would highly recommend Millany homes for your next stay. The lady organised airport transfer from JKIA at a very reasonable price. She also accepted a late checkout upon my request. Their breakfast was amazing. Charles picked us from the airport and his customer service is excellent. Thank you Millany homes....
