The Nairobi transit lounge helped us out when we had missed our flight. It is really close to the Airport and you will get a clean room for small money. Of course you cannot expect a room like in one of the big hotels for this amount, but you will get an average kenyan room with a good bed and wifi.
The service is excellent and can compete with all other hotels. They asked us what we would like to eat and cooked it in an excellent way. This day we had french fries but i guess traditional kenyan meals like ugali or chapati are available as well
First we had some issue to find the location, the street outside the house gave us some headache and it was in the middle of the night. But the transit lounge helped us via Whatsapp.
