Shuhan Hotel — Hotel in Thika Township ward

Hotel is set in a quiet location. The designer messed the owner during construction though in several ways; Reception is set in the furthest end of ground floor and guest lose some time trying to find it. The unnecessary steel grills used even a partitions inside the lobby, restaurants, bar and windows might have saved the owner like 15% of the costs. I stayed in a room where balcony is completely grilled and enclosed marking it part of the room. Bad design! Washroom sink is way out in the balcony. Service too can be improved. Overall, the cost of stay and breakfast should ba about Ksh.2,000 at most for...

liked their lift, the corridors are wide ,clean.Spacious well ventilated rooms and looks well cleaned.

The basement parking is secure.

I was leaving early and chef was very cooperative in making sure I had an early breakfast.

However the lighting in the room can be a struggle for an individual who intends to do some work at night or early morning. The type of the bulb used gives a dim lighting.

When I choose a hotel, I look out for the cost, security, clean bathroom, Clean beddings, HOT WATER and good breakfast. Shuhan met a good percent of my expectations, except for the breakfast, which could be better. The Hotel is strategically positioned within 5 mins walk near shopping malls, Pizza places, KFC etc. The staff were quite friendly and very helpful.
