It is a budget friendly hotel . It is located within walking distance from victory monument ( around 15 mins) . We booked it for 14256 Som for 3 nights and 4 days. We booked it through booking.com .
We arrived at the hotel at 5 pm in the evening and to our surprise our room wasn't ready and was being cleaned. We had to wait for 10 mins. We were then not even told that the room was ready, and upon asking, we were handed the key and left to ourselves to figure out how to go to the room .
The rooms are enclosed in a space with a door operated with a chip, which is provided with the room key as the building doubles as an office on weekdays.
There is no bell boy to help with luggage. The staff understands English, which is plus in this country. They helped us book a cab
The room allotted to us was on the 5th floor. The room itself was spacious and enough for 2 people . The amenities provided were toothbrush, shampoo, shower gel, handwash, soap, toilet roll, slippers, and towels. The room is also equipped with a tv, a handheld hair dryer, and a hot shower.
Our room package didn't include breakfast, however, we were told that od we need breakfast they have 3 options priced at 400 som each and we have to inform them one day in advance to avail...
Read moreI had a very bad experience here that left me feeling unsafe, afraid and led to me leaving the hotel a day early to locate new accommodations.
I had an older European man become aggressive with me over talking on my phone in an open breakfast area. When I arrived I was the only guest in the room that morning. I got my breakfast and contacted my family to update them on my whereabouts and chit-chat about current events. I was unaware someone else entered the room and was sitting behind me.
Instead of notifying me that anyone else was in the room the man approached me and began screaming and pointing at me to shut up and leave the area, leaving me shocked. He continued screaming I was an entitled American and said everyone hates me. I thought this man was going to hit me if I stood up for myself. My mom was on the phone with me, heard the interaction and was shocked, too. I am in the country alone and was left very shaken and afraid therefore left for another hotel.
The hotel is clean. Rooms are small, basic but comfortable. The staff was nice but the experience ruined my stay and the first few days of...
Read moreThe atmosphere of my stay was completely ruined on day-2. Breakfast was included in my booking, yet when I attended the breakfast room I was informed that the price I secured via booking.com was too "cheap" - therefore, I would have to pay for my "included" breakfast...
Understandably to be embarrassed in the presence of other guests and essentially lied to is not the experience anyone wants. Eventually they obviously realised they could be liable for a refund via booking.com if they didn't give me my breakfast so they attempted to resolve this by banging on my door and calling the in-room telephone shortly afterwards (and whilst I was shaving) to inform me that they would give me breakfast. Of course by this point it was too late, and I can't recommend this place given this behaviour, though the room was clean, presentable and suitable for a single occupant. The hotel is also well located and the staff (besides those who decided not to give me breakfast initially) were very professional and friendly and there was...
