Чайхана NAVAT — Restaurant in Bishkek City

When my order came, I requested a bowl of rice, waited 20 mins and didnt come and then we asked again,.. then waited again like half an hour. And when we saw the waiter and expressed frustration why so long he apologises there's no rice left. We had to chase 3 times and wait like an hour to get an answer, it happens alot at other navat as well, you often request something and they simply forget or dont bother to communicate with customers, leaving us waiting. Then our group had to leave, if I knew earlier I could've order other things but I ended up eating very little of my dish (lazhirou), cuz it was salty with out any rice or bread. Basically I left feeling hungry pretty soon after due to this poor service. If this was a cheap restaurant I won't be complaining, but navat is sposed to be premium chain, really needs improvement on...

Good place for tourists. They have a menu in English, good food (and a good variety from local specialities to Chinese or European dishes), relaxed, happy atmosphere, but slow service.

I enjoyed the food (veal in creamy sauce with crisps and a draft beer). Comfortable seating outside, nice atmosphere, though a bit more peaceful than most UK places. I didn't notice the traffic on the main road. The dishes all came separately and one had either been allowed to go cold or had not been sufficiently reheated from prep time. We visited Navat Restaurant to try their food, and it was a delightful experience. I would rate it 4 out of 5. The food was delicious, and the prices were quite reasonable, making it great value for money.

We were welcomed with a complimentary drink, which was a nice touch. For our meal, we ordered fried manti, festive toy ashy, and shorpo. Each dish was well-prepared, flavorful, and presented beautifully.
