HOTEL CHYNARA — Hotel in Issyk-Kul Region

We decided to go to hotel Chynara and did not have high expectations because there were no previous reviews. We were pleased to find a lovely hotel with beautiful gardens that had only been open for 3 weeks. The staff were extremely warm and welcoming and did everything they could to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Several of the staff speak English which was very helpful for us Our room was comfortably furnished and was very clean! We had a private beautifully tiled bathroom and a mini fruit refrigerator to put our leftovers in. On-site they have a dining hall with a view of the lake and they can provide you with a delicious breakfast or dinner. We also saw that they had a full bar appeared to be very well-stocked. We were very late to set camp. We found this place very last minute and from the few images we saw we thought was worth a try. We have by far, up to date, the best Kyrgyz hospitality. Emilia and Shirin welcomed us so warmly and gave us a tour of the rooms available. The rooms/apartments are very spacious and clean. Good running hot water and kitchen included. Wifi all over the building. Inside you have a restaurant with two amazing uzbeki cooks. Great food! Absolutely recommended if travelling around here visiting the amazing canyons.
