Site consists of level pitches for camping and caravanning. The site was really busy during our stay. The reception staff were efficient and helpful but very busy. The site facilities are situated in containers ( for wc's) and in the rear of the exhibition centre for the showers. All the facilities i used were clean and serviceable. The showers were particularly good.||I note that previous reviews suggest the laundry facilities are poor but I can not comment on them as I did not use them.||This site lacks shade and is situated close to a water way. Due to the still hot weather, we had during our stay, there were a lot of midge type of insects in the evening( repellent recommended ! )|| Hyper market is close by (800m) for shopping. The site has Wi-Fi for €3 a day for one device only. The walk into Riga centre is approximately 25 - 30 minutes at a stroll or 10 minutes on the public bus (3 or 57) at a cost of €2.|All in all, a good base to use to...

The open air dish washing place is a joke both doing that during rain but also the warm water was not hot enough for greas to come out of plates. I wonder if they have any book keeping at all as the papers written were handed to me and cash payment only. I mailed before my reservation but didn’t get the 5% discount promised on the web site. 2 stars only due to free wi-fi which was...
