A story about 2 of my visits. A pleasent surprise in the end, so do spare the time for a read.
Regretably, misinformation is a big problem at this restaurant. Information about dish state is, perhaps, purposfully withheld from the user. I regret visiting it as much as I can. The saddest part - it was good at one time. Those memories have become absolete. The waiter tried being humorous, which is admirable, but sadly fell flat in his humour atempts. He was at times pushy, at times he started hugging my mother. I applaud his attempts, although I don't think that it was the right thing to do. The food was decent, but we had to wait for 2.5 hours for it. The saddest part was that we weren't informed about the fact, that we could order beforehand. Be vary - key facts may be withheld from your knowledge due to an error. I have a regretful taste in my mouth because a table right next to ours either was informed about the fact that you can order beforehand, or just were preffered by the restaurant. I am not sure. Perhaps some people truly are better than others based on appearance, perhaps spoken language or race. I cannot say for sure, since once again, I wasn't informed on such policy. I can only guess.
Edit: The owner reached out to me, so I updated the score. He was very polite and was sorry that such a dubious misconduct occured. A personal apology was fitting and to be honest the sencerity and how genuine he was made me soften up. I am happy that we managed to come to a conclusion. It's settled.
Update 05.08.2025 I gave it another shot and it was totally worth it. Changed the review for a 5 star one, since it is really that good. I guess the catering problem was solved and the place really did care. They were foregoing, it was my birthday and I got a cake. It was very nice and a well deserved 20% tip was earned. I sadly don't know the waiter's name who served me. But he in his late 50s and has glasses. He's great at what he does, a true profesional and deserves the utmost respect. If he is serving you - you're in for a good...
Read moreEdit : The owner personally reached out with a sincere apology, which I truly appreciated. It’s clear the restaurant takes feedback seriously and is committed to excellent service. As a gesture of goodwill, they offered a complimentary voucher, a thoughtful touch that shows they genuinely care about their customers.
We had high hopes for this restaurant, having chosen it as the venue to celebrate my brother’s graduation, a milestone we were genuinely excited to mark with a memorable meal. Unfortunately, what we received was not just poor service, but an appalling display of incompetence and disregard for customers.
We arrived promptly at 7:00 pm, with a reservation, expecting at the very least to be seated, acknowledged, and served within a reasonable time. What followed was over 2.5h of waiting. Our food finally arrived at 9.30pm, by which point the evening was not only ruined, but the entire occasion had lost its meaning.
The most shocking part of the experience, however, wasn’t even the wait, it was the unacceptable attitude of thr staff. Our server was dismissive, unhelpful, and at times flat-out rude. When we politely asked about the status of our order, we were met with defensiveness and condescension. The lack of professionalism and basic hospitality was staggering.
This was meant to be a joyful evening, one we had looked forward to for weeks, and the restaurant failed us entirely. There is no excuse for what happened. Mistakes happen, but how a restaurant responds is what defines its character. In this case, there was no accountability or professional courtesy.
I rarely write reviews, but this experience was beyond unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to think twice before booking here for...
Read moreI had a dinner here last week. The service here is not good, the waiter we had was rude. We were seated first in the wrong table and they moved us in a another one. We had a reservation. We had to ask if we can order instead of them asking us if we are ready to order and when we asked, the waiter kinda shrugged and said “I don’t know, are you ready?”. When giving the order the waiter interrupted us we several times by asking if it was for me or for the gentleman, which is okay to ask but I think it could be good not to interrupt so many times and after every dish I listed. This can be done after I finish telling my order. When I said I would wish to have the tuna tartare, he made a confused look and I felt uncomfortable as I have said something wrong and quickly scanned through the menu again. The tuna tartare was there, I pointed it to the waiter. It leaves you feeling that you are somehow bothering the waiter and does not make you feel welcomed.
For being such a beautiful nice place, the waiters behavior does not match it. We ordered a bottle of sparkling wine and he asked with a confused tone “a bottle?” and I confirmed. If I say I would like to have a bottle of Cava, it is okay to confirm but not interrupting middle of my sentence. It can be done at the end and with a nice tone.
Overall the feeling I got was that we were somehow “bothering” them by being there. Which does not make any sense because we are the clients and you are offering a service. The Salmon I ordered as a main was also little dry, but this I communicated during the visit and the waiter admitted that salmon is tricky to prepare. The place is truly beautiful, but the waiters leave you feeling that you are...
