stayed with a family for 4 nights in june 2017 in a two room, sauna, kitchen, terrace cottage. major advice: check first wind not temp forecast if you decide to visit and overnight at the place cause it blows heavily; cottages stand in the open some 50m from the sea with no trees or hills to protect you from the onslaught of the Baltic winds. cottage with sauna gives a much bigger value to the vacation. But unfortunately the cottages show signs of being somewhat worn out and room cleaning standards are average at best.
on the other hand, restaurant food will cheer you up as portions are good and taste is real. it seems that kitchen people are the only ones left trying to keep up the standard. yacht club was shut all 5 days during our stay (in June!); beach is spacious, beautiful with little traces of human presence or activities. price wise, however, the place still beats Estonia where similar cottage with sauna is impossible to rent for under 100eur...

The receptionist guy really saved our day - he personally cooked us a very nice meal FOR FREE because we couldn’t go anywhere to buy food. In the morning he insisted to help us by driving around the town finding someone to fix our car, while we were comfortably waiting and resting in our room. In the end he drove us to the car and guided us to the mechanic who finally resolved our issue.
The hotel itself was surprisingly nice considering the location, and the hotel restaurant is probably very good when it’s open. We paid only 50€ for the night for two people and breakfast was included in the price. I’m grateful and I’m wishing prosperity for...
