Milleri — Hotel in Salacgrīva

Power outage between 12 and 14/14:30. I was not told about it in advance. I only found out about it when the power was cut off. The place mostly caters for the cottages, motorhome / caravan places are in the back on a small uneven ground. Expensive place considering that there are no services for caravaners. There is no place to empty the gray water tank and the chemical casette toilet. On the back lot there are only outhouses for toilets. I was suggested that I empty the casette toilet into one, I don't consider dumping poisonous chemicals into an outhouse proper. In the toilets by the showers there are no hooks to hang up your bag. The showers need development: exhaust fan for the steam and led lights as the halogen bulbs are rather dim. The water is only luke warm, there is no way to regulate the temperature for any taps on the site. The sandy beach is a few hundred meters away beyond a forest. Some traffic noise from the nearby highway. Under the circumstanses I won't...

We stayed in Milleri last year during Positivus Music festival weekend and have booked for 2015 as well. Perfect location to reach festival grounds within 7-10mins walk. Also few minutes walk directly to the beach.||Very pleasant atmosphere and caring hosts. Each hut is nicely decorated with an individual approach. Camping grounds have kitchen area, laundry, showers and toilets for common use. There is kids playground and bbq areas as well. Recommended whether you are passing through and want to stay a single night or enjoy sea side tranquillity...

We stayed in Milleri for a family gathering. The place is magical for the every age, so close to the sea where you can swim all day in the warm water, open fire pit to cook also bbq outside the cabins. The cabins are well equipped with all you need and the beds are quite comfortable. The staff are friendly and very kind and engaging with the children. Great place for a relaxing camping holiday, not far from the town either, less than half an hour walk to the petrol station, and the views are stunning. Would highly recommend to everyone...
