Sinchronas — Hotel in Telšiai

The hotel is located exactly in the heart of Telsiai town. At the first moment it is a bit difficult to locate because it is in the same block as a bank and the entrance does not look like the hotel entrance. Actually, to reach the hotel you will need to use elevator – it is on the third floor. As I was only staying one night, I took a small economy room, facing the street. Note that these are noisy ones. So if staying longer or want to indulge yourselves, take lakeside rooms, they are quieter and vistas are amazing. My room was small, but with enough space, Everything very clean and in good working condition. As it was very hot, perfectly working A/C was great treat. WiFi is free and fast, but this is rather a rule than exception in Lithuanian hotels. Bed was comfy, there were no problems with water in the shower and it was very quiet at the hotel itself. Breakfast was surprisingly variable and good quality for an establishment with such small number of rooms. A bonus were breathtaking views of the lake and old part of the town from the restaurant. Though reputed to be good, I did not try their food apart from the breakfast. But they made me an excellent cocktail drink to sit and contemplate the evening coming down on the lake. Prices in restaurant too big for Telsiai. Staff isn't professional, but trying... Old soviet building - no hotel sign, no entry from parking, no directions to reception, no reception on ground floor. No staff waiting for you. On queen size bad - to one bad blanket! When we ask about blanket size we get answer from women on reception - i am not a maid - i am hotel...
