Le Colbert has a good location (being in the middle where most of the tourist hotels are) with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants around.||||We had a room on the 2nd floor which was huge and had a definite "collonial days" flair (lots of dark wood etc.). We slept well in the large bed - the only drawback was that there was no mosquito net over the bed or on the windows, so we could not leave them open during the night (which was a pity since the room got quite hot). Our room also had air condition which worked really cooled the room down fast, and a mini bar with reasonable prices.||||The hotel advertises free WiFi, but when we were there the connection was very bad and unstable (and one day it did not work at all), so don't count on the fact that you can surf the internet when you're there. ||||The bathroom had a tub and was large and sufficiently clean (though a bit dated).||||The restaurant was ok - breakfast was average (but the fruit juice was great). The staff was fine and the adjacent restaurant ok as well. The odd thing as well was that there seemed to be nicer rooms that were often open, literally and occupant-wise, that felt as if they were being saved for a show piece or someone "special". I'm saying "average" but for the cost I could have put "poor". We came, we...
