Chan Living Inn 幸福小屋 — Hotel in Borneo

We stayed here for one night prior to leaving for Kapalai Dive Resort. It was clean with excellent internet which is really all we needed. The garden really is pretty. There were some friendly little cats that hung around the gardens. The motel is several km from downtown where restaurants are. We took a grab both ways for dinner and to the marina in the AM. Traffic can be bad, so leave on the earlier side if you are heading downtown to the marina! The motel is right next to the main road, so it can be a little loud I imagine (it was pouring rain so traffic noise was less of an issue). I stayed here with my friend for 2 days 1 nights on last weekend. The room house clean and spacious and the garden is very chill. It is as described on the website. The room is considered very big as compared to other hotel or homestay in Semporna which you will feel more comfortable than squeezing your luggage and friends in a small room. The owner is such awesome hosts. Their friendliness makes us feel at home. Overall, we had a wonderful stay thanks to the hospitality and lovely people. This place is a small paradise with the accommodations set around a beautiful pool surrounded by gardens. The rooms are so spacious and clean with nice hot showers. The breakfast provided is delicious and varied, there are also a couple of restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance for any necessities. The lady who runs the place is so kind, when we were stuck downtown without a way to get to the inn, she offered to pick us up.
