Labuk Hotel — Hotel in Borneo

Car park available most of the time including peak hours, but very near to rubbish dump house i.e. UNPLEASANT ODOUR.

Mamak restaurant at walking distance, tandoori stall available. Massage centre quite at walking distance, about 5-10mins.

Dark area, NO much street light thus gives a pretty UNSAFE aura.

Friendly reception. Rooms well kept. The room I stayed a few times was clean. Wall power socket behind TV was NOT convenient to fit large headed plug i.e. tiny gap between TV and wall.

Bathroom had transparent mirror, its interior visible from bedroom. Can be blocked with blinds if needed. Shower room cleanliness is moderate. Hot water HARDLY available (quickly).

Coffee table set available with writing table too.

Wall lamp next to the bed NOT properly mounted and not in functioning condition.

Room which I stayed was charged affordably about RM70 per...

this hotel need a new review, it is a very worn out hotel, need refurbishment.

Wardrobe is broken, cannot hang cloth, smell of fungus, no effort to fixt whatsoever

Water shower is nonsense, very slow and scanty, not sure why

Bedsheet is dirty with stain,

Room smells of fungus, fungal wallpaper

staff- no really friendly, playing games all the time at the reception, ciggaratte smell very strong, when ask for iron and ironing board, the staff ask to take myself at the reception, after insist then he send the iron n ironing board to the 2nd floor without lift

I'd recommend this hotel if you're on a short visit to Sandakan. I had a meeting in Sandakan for a few days and this hotel was one of the nearest to my workplace there.||||Cons:||- The room / restroom and linen looked old and worn out. If you're a Four Seasons type of guest, this hotel is not a good choice.||- The shower was broken. It was functioning well but the handle was really broken.||||Pros:||- The friendliest and most attentive staffs. 10/10 for customer service. Thumbs up!||- Location. It took us only 7 minutes to reach the airport from this hotel.||- Free airport shuttle service.||- Eateries, groceries are very near. ||- The TV and cable worked...
