Miri City Homestay — Hotel in Borneo

Recent we stayed here. From the outside it's totally looked nice and fine. But as you went upstairs, you could see the carpet on the stair have stain on it and it started to smell like old building.

Then, we got our keys and as soon as we open the door, the room cover with musty smell, there are furniture that broke and even had broken and big hole in it. The furniture in the living room is old.

Overall, I can conclude is the Bed was fine, the bathroom that has double bed in the was fine, but the other bathroom we did not tried because as we open the bathroom It got musty smell. The water heater was fine. But the rest, It did not seem like a pleasant stay. But the bed and water...

Stayed here for 3 days in their twin sharing bedroom. Basic necessities was provided. However, the charging plug was far from the beds so it is recommended to bring your own extensions. No lifts as well, so, not recommended for people with arthritis. On day 2, I realized some red spots on my legs. Therefore, I suspected there are bed bugs on the mattress I slept on. 😓😓😓 Location is quite far from town, so, one must rent or book a Grab to go anywhere. During my recent stay, I encountered several issues that affected my experience. The bathroom was not clean and had a bad odor, and there were no towels, toiletries, or a water heater provided. Luckily I bring my own just in case. Although these issues might be bearable for a single night if you're just looking for a place to sleep, they did detract from my comfort.
