Tuaran Hotel — Hotel in Borneo

The level of service provided was extremely poor. The receptionist displayed rude behavior and failed to offer any solutions. Despite booking a twin bed hotel room at 2:00 pm for RM80, when we arrived at 8:00 pm, we were informed that only a family room was available for RM100. Apparently, Agoda had locked the twin room option at 7:00 pm. The receptionist, a discourteous young man, unapologetically informed us about the lack of twin rooms and did not provide any alternatives. After a heated discussion, he reluctantly offered us a twin room with a damaged toilet. This left us speechless. We requested the manager's phone number, but he claimed not to know it, which seemed highly unusual. Both my sister and I had an incredibly frustrating experience dealing with this individual and the overall service of this hotel. So bad! If I could give no star rating, I would...

Saya benar-benar menyesal menginap di hotel ini. Harga sangat mahal, tetapi kebersihan langsung tidak terjaga. Katil penuh dengan rambut dan kesan kuning, malah selepas menginap di sini, anak saya terkena penyakit kulit. Tekanan air sangat teruk — kadang-kadang air keluar terlalu perlahan, dan ada masa langsung tiada air. Kami terpaksa bangun pukul 4 pagi semata-mata untuk mandi.

Tempat letak kereta juga sangat menyusahkan. Tiada simpang masuk atau keluar yang betul, dan kawasan penuh dengan kereta kerana lokasi bersebelahan dengan JNT. Lebih teruk lagi, saya terpaksa bayar dua kali ganda daripada harga asal kerana tempahan murah melalui aplikasi online “dibatalkan” oleh pihak hotel, menyebabkan saya tiada pilihan selain bayar semula dengan harga yang lebih mahal.

Pengalaman ini sangat mengecewakan, dan saya tidak akan kembali lagi ke sini.

I really regret staying at this hotel. The price is very expensive, but the hygiene is completely out of order. The bed was full of hair and yellow stains, and after staying here, my child even suffered from a skin disease. The water pressure is terrible — sometimes the water is so slow, and other times there is no water at all. We had no choice but to wake up at 4am just to shower.

The parking is also a nightmare. There is no proper junction to enter or exit, and the whole place is crowded with cars because of the location near JNT. On top of that, I ended up paying double the original price because the cheaper booking I made through an online app was “cancelled” by the hotel, and I was forced to pay again at a higher rate.

This was a very bad experience, and I will not come...

We arrived with little expectations. We departed with a smile.||Tuaran is one of those places where the unexpected occurs.Not a lot is written about it.||The Hotel while small was adequate clean, and with all the amenities we required..Meals were available nearby the view of the mountain is superb.||You can get to a local Kampong by vehicle very cheaply. Well worth that experience also. It will not however suit some people. The transport is rough and ready. Take a chance and go visit you wont be...
