Tumombuvoi Homestay — Hotel in Borneo

My stay here was amazing. Unplug and enjoy what Mother Nature has to offer at the cute little beach villas. The beach was at my front door. I sat on my balcony and soaked in the sunset before heading to crystal clear waters for a dip along the Tanjung Simpang Mengayau beach. Ina’s cafe is a very understated from the outside, but AMAZING food! Which is part of the Homestay. There are a few dogs about, who are happy to be with you if you wish (which I did) and happy to leave you alone if you don’t want their company. Only a 3 hour drive up from Kota Kinabalu, I can highly recommend if your looking for secluded beach time .. Comfy...

I'm giving 3 star review because there's more to be improved for this homestay..first of all,the homestay doesn't have a kitchen or a place to cook..if families are staying there,you need to bring your own cooking utensils and it not a family friendly homestay..second,there are too many dogs roaming around the homestay and makes the place dirty with trash because they knock off the trash bin outside the homestay..third,the homestay owner doesn't, allow you to change room last minute eventhough other rooms are empty..otherwise,the scene from the homestay is beautiful and the...

Amazing place to stay! If you like remote places, far away from the crowd and with amazing sunset and atmosphere, this is the place to go!
