Read moreThis was hands down the worst accommodation experience I’ve ever had. The room reeked of mold, the wardrobe looked like it could fall apart at any moment, and the bathroom was damp. The door’s security lock was broken, and the peephole? It was literally just a hole stuffed with tissue.
The bedsheets had holes—not great, but I could live with it. However, the pillows smelled absolutely disgusting. I wanted to call housekeeping, only to realize there wasn’t even a phone in the room.
The next morning, when we went to check out, the cleaning staff told us we had to wait because the receptionist was out having breakfast. Apparently, we couldn’t check out until he finished eating and returned.
