This is clearly a very popular place, often bustling with crowds, but also they are understaffed to handle the huge volume of customers. The atmosphere and vibe is lively, but the long queues and extended waiting times for both service and food can really test your patience.
I tried their 粿ę”걤å¤å³, which included braised duck instead of the typical pork and internal organs commonly found in this common dish. The soup was flavorful, and the ingredients were well-prepared, clearly catering and captured the local Johorian palate. The taste was good but not entirely to my likingāperhaps because Iām an outstation visitor and less accustomed to the specific flavors targeted at locals.
Despite the long wait, the prices here are incredibly affordable, which makes the experience feel worthwhile to some extent. The meal felt like a fair trade-off for the time spent waiting, especially for those who enjoy authentic, hearty local dishes.
The service, while friendly, was understandably rushed due to the overwhelming crowd. It was hard to feel fully attended to, given the understaffing issues.
Oddly, Iām unsure whether Iāll revisit this place. While the food quality and price point are commendable, the long wait and flavors not matching my personal preferences leave me...

We received 2 kuey teow soup (I did not mentioned soup at all) instead of our duck noodle, 1 coffee and 1 sugarcane.since I was hungry, I just took the kuey teow soup and send back 1 more to changed for duck noodle. They gave me kuey teow/mee soup instead of duck noodle. I asked the girl is this duck noodle? She said oh order duck noodle? She then changed it for me and finally had it right.
During our meal we decided to add on another duck noodle, I asked for duck noodle mee and even repeated 3 times in malay, she send me an empty bowl of noodle with just mee with no duck. We spoke in 3 different language malay, English and mandarin. I finally gave up and stopped eating. The owners I presumed was looking at me as if I did something wrong but all my orders that their staff took was wrong. I asked for the bill two times. They charged me for 2 coffee but only send one. Definitely not going back there again. Worst experience ever in my three weeks...
Read moreThey are super busy, but the staff is still attentive and friendly and really try their best to give you good service. You order at the table. Food took some time to arrive, which is understandable considéring the volume. I got a double portion of duck meat, some dried beadcurd, and dry kwayteow noodles. It also comes served with herbal soup. I thought the herbal soup was so-so. But the duck was really great. Good flavour, good portion size. The beancurd and noodles I found to be too oily. I think this meal was really worth it, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Everything came up to RM26, which I felt was not a bad...
