J Boutique Hotel — Hotel in Johor

My attempt to stay at this Hotel was incredibly disappointing and frustrating. This self-check-in establishment requires guests to call the staff or owner before entering, but despite numerous attempts via phone, WhatsApp, and online numbers, we received no response whatsoever.

Standing outside the hotel for over 20 minutes before finally getting through to someone was beyond inconvenient. The staff member that eventually answered was unbelievably rude, which unfortunately seems to be a common complaint according to previous Google reviews.

Given this experience, I strongly advise potential guests to explore other lodging options in the area. There are surely better choices available where you can expect more reliable and...

this hotel was a level below 'ok'

when I arrived at the hotel, it impressed me a bit on how it was a self check-in but I had doubts about their security system

After I went up to my floor, it was ok, you will be greeted with a cat. In front of my room's door, it had a hole(looked like an unused space) idk but it creeped me out.

I checked my room, the room seemed like someone used it right before me; tissue in the toilet bowl and beside it, someone left the plug for 2-pin charger, the complimenteries was a bit crumpled but ok i guess, the bin had a trash in it(not that I mind but it literally looked like someone has been here w/o permission??) idk maybe I'm wrong

but overall it's a 3 for me as...

The Bads… The door lock is unreasonably tricky Windows broken, along the busy road = noise through the night There a small cockroach roaming ard… There a hint of toilet smell in the room Cushions with stains… Bed sheet is not the right size Bed...
