8 adults and 5 kids went on a Friday 2 days and 1 night trip. Not crowded during our stay, about 3-4 other families on board.
We reached Teluk Sengat jetty at 2pm and speed boat fetch us to resort within minutes.
Throughout the stay, we enjoyed their sumptuous food and fresh seafood. I am a oyster lover, and it's definitely one of the place for fresh and creamy oyster. Ask for the king size oyster if you like more creamy taste.
The crew are friendly and Jane was very attentive. Our kids enjoyed the stay and adults enjoyed the relax evening with scenery, food and drinks.

Read moreStayed at the resort during the March school holidays with my family. We had 4 rooms at level 2 and another at level 1. Level 2 rooms are above the kitchen and common area, which houses a karaoke set that is open to guests free of charge. Level 1 rooms are newer and for bigger family (up to 4), and situated away from the common area. The rooms are considered clean for kelong with some room for improvement. They do make it a point to rest one day per week for a more thorough cleaning. Activities include fishing (you can rent a rod at 20 ringgit for 2 days 1 night stay), Table Tennis, mahjong, Canoeing and karaoke private room (chargeable). There is free wifi at common area but a bit weak. No TV in the rooms but 1 in the common area. Food wise, they served up to 5 meals- lunch included for 3 days 2 nights’ stay. With self-serve supper of instant noodles, bread, coffee and tea. Jane, the person-in-charge who coordinated the booking, arranged our rooms and cooked our meals was a wonderful staff. She was friendly, patient and attended to our questions before the trip and during the trip. She also changed our dinner menu from steamboat on day 1 to cooked dishes on day 2, so we had variety. Fish was served during dinner and was fresh. We had a good first night but woke up by the noise from kitchen preparing the breakfast around 6 plus. Then came the second night where a large group of families with young kids checked in. They were running on the wooden platform and creating quite a commotion. The group started singing karaoke at 9 and music was very loud, with kids shouting into the mike frequently. The noise was unbearable as we were separated by wooden planks with no soundproof properties. As we were out at Desauru fruit farm for tour and ATV under the hot sun, we were tired and wanted to rest early at 10pm. Spoke to them to lower their volume at 10.30 and they did stop the Karaoke but not the noise. Woke up again by the group laughing, kids running and eating supper at 1 plus am. That continued for a while.. sigh... I spoke to Jane the next day and was told no rules imposed for guests how late they stayed up but they should stop their karaoke at 11pm. They would look into improving this in future. Agree that people may go to kelong and stay up to fish but it would be appreciated if individuals spare a thought for others and keep their volume down after 11pm. All of us, from the elderly and the young had a bad sleep that night. Would we go back again? Yes, but would request for rooms on level 1, away from the common area. Recommend to go during off-peak Seasons for those who want a peaceful and...
Read moreThis was the last stop of our Malaysian road trip and (wow!) was it an appropriate place to end a holiday! We arrived on a boat that had a private docking bay, to a nicely planned floating kelong that was immediately cosy to the feel. Walking around barefooted on the wooden floor was a natural treat. The rooms were large enough for families, with comfortable amenities, and even a balcony to view the beautiful scenery!||Tea was served, with simple fare that was absolutely authentic of a kelong lifestyle and simply delicious! Coffee was provided and it was good... just nice to chill and chat the day away.||Dinner was a lavish spread of a steamboat with ikan bakar garam (salted baked fish), and the other fresh seafood ingredients, completed with fresh vegetables. After dinner entertainment was about gathering to chat, sing, mahjong, and even night fishing in the cool sea breeze.||||Oh yes! You MUST have the famous oysters there too!!!||||That’s the adult review...||||The children’s review would be that it’s an amazing place! With mostly fishing, table tennis, a small archery range... fishing was the highlight of the trip as there were different fishes at different times of the day. The place was big enough to run around safely and play hide and seek, there was enough ice cold drinks, and the food was super delicious!||||Definitely the place for urban kids to hangout and have an absolutely amazing...
