Mayazia Inn — Hotel in Kelantan

Stayed 1 night in this hotel.|||What I like about the hotel :|-No fuss. Nice lobby/reception area.|-Acceptably clean room so you can go on with your business|-Has Airconditioner, TV,small table with refridgerator in room.|||Tips for other visitors :|- parking is available but only 4 carparks are available. You might ended up parking elsewhere if you are not fast enough/during peak period.||-travel light as the rooms are not that big||-there is a nice (and probably famous) ayam bakar/ayam percik (grilled chicken) shop nearby within 3-5min walking distance where you can have nice local breakfast. But make sure you are early or you will end up in a long queue.|||Things to improve / What I DO NOT like about this hotel :||-The ventilation path in the bathroom is just so bad. Probably done wrong, and the bathroom smells like a drain everytime you turn on the light for shower as it turns on the ventilation fan as well.||If the issue is fixed, you will get 5 stars and...

Super comfy rooms with friedly staff. Great facilities with tv, kettle and mini fridge. Iron available at a common place on each floor. There is a 7 11, damra chicken rice and a self service laundry next door. Accross the road there ikhwan restaurant which serves great malay style porridge with condiments in the evening. Staff is awfully rude (why work in service sector if cannot be nice to customer). Owner should better interview staff and not hire antisocials. Room is clean but no window. Overall will rather go to DIY and buy tent to sleep somewhere than having to sleep here again....
