D'Villa Guesthouse Langkawi — Hotel in Langkawi Island

The place is nice for a budget traveller who likes to be near kampung areas. My room opens out to a rice field with the beautiful mountains at the back. The pool is easily accessible and clean. The two lady housekeepers are friendly and do their job well!

One thing to note is that you may need to bring your own toiletries as they provide only a small tube of shampoo (enough for daily use), and a bar of soap. There are cups for coffee, and some utensils offered, but no bowls or plates.

The wardrobe is big for many clothes. The toilet was clean and wifi is good. It’s easy to get a Grab from this hotel (take note that it’s harder to get a Grab between 11pm to 7am from here, I didn’t know that and waited ages till I got one going to the airport for my 8:45am flight!)

For food, you can easily eat at the nasi kandar store right outside the villa. There are supermarkets nearby and also a laundry place...

D'Villa Guest House offers everything a traveler needs in Tunjung Rhu. Picturesque view of the paddy field and hills in the backdrop where you would find clouds forming. Room with clean and cozy bed, electric kettle, a small fridge to keep your eatables, Television and high speed wifi, toiletries in the bathroom. You will wake-up with birds chirping sound, since its away from the main road you will get a nice and sound sleep. If you need to wash your clothes there is a paid washing shop adjacent to the guest house, grocery and fresh vegetable and fruit shop where you can buy fruits and the grocery. Overall I like the location and the amenities provided in the guest house, great value hotel to reside away from...

I had a wonderful stay at this place and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Langkawi! The location is perfect – just a short distance from the Friday night market and Pantai Pasir Hitam. It's also surrounded by lush paddy fields, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The house/room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. Plus, the shared swimming pool was a great bonus! The owner was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway...
