Dawn Chalet — Hotel in Langkawi Island

Location of this chalet is 10 mins from airport & 15 mins from Chenang. It is quite away from everything but i had rental car to get around. Ample parking space is available for guests. You can rent a car on your arrival (jetty / airport), ask for discounts if you are staying longer. ||||Check-in was quick and easy. We stayed in Room 8 (2 adults & 2 kids). The room is facing the pool, spacious, beds & bathroom are clean. The pool is child friendly. The downside is no breakfast provided and wi-fi signal is not reachable from our room. Probably only areas nearby the reception. ||||Overall the chalet is new, clean, comfy, perfect for relaxing if you want to avoid busy Chenang. ||Kettle, towels, shampoo & soap are available, you can ask at the reception desk for an iron / ironing board. i was there last week. everything went just well. room is spacious. only one thing, the staff. upon booking one of the staff, fatin speak rudely with one of my family member.. then during my stay when I want to request for broom since my room is full of sand after playing at the sea , while I enter the office I saw 4 girl staff playing their phone and just ignore me. what a shame. I feel terrible. they should greet me and not see me that way. pool is okay. good. too much chlorine I guest. well need improvement. be more polite. the rest this place is nice. ||||if you guys don't wanna treat your customer kindly find other job that suits u guys. please learn about customer service. ||||thanks dawn. u have a great place...

The location of this chalet is in the middle between Kuah and Cenang Beach area. You need to have a transport if u are staying here or you will be stuck at night with nowhere happening to go to. U will also need the transport to get food as the chalet does not have a cafe and does not provide food for breakfast or dinner. There are some local restaurants around the chalet but not many choices.||||However..the chalet is comfortable with quite spacious room and facilities. It is also well kept and maintenance reacted very fast upon our complaint regarding our bathroom lamp. This chalet also has a nice pool both for adults and children.
