Homestay Port Dickson — Hotel in Negeri Sembilan

Rent it from internet for 1 nite..CHEAP!! but once there...kinda having split thoughts. It is quite a big apartment...neighboring CORUS hotel on both sides. I rented one on the right of CORUS, Luckily got the 5th floor...just right at the entrance. I think the rooms are from different owners and depends on your luck to get good and comfy rooms. Mine was ok. Clean and well maintained. ||||However, the surroundings was quite scary..dark, gloomy and kinda deserted. The elevator...hmmmm....pray before you use it ok. ||||To get to the beach...you need to go down to ground floor...and exited next to CORUS. The walk is creepy...if you're alone...hmmmm...better armed yourself. It should be well lighted as the hill and trees covered the walkway and make it dark.||||Good thing...there're a beach which you can swim and enjoy. There is even a watersport activity nearby. Just watch out for discharge pipe near the watersport place...the pipe exited just right at the beach which i think i wrong...i think its from CORUS. I saw from my room..the pipe discharge some black colored water out of that and right it goes into the beach. So careful ok.||||Overall....good place but NEED better maintenance with good lighting, elevator and new coat...

Book 2 units which are under Berjaya Group here. Given unit G-L3-4 & G-L3-5. The units are run down with broken furnitures, really old fridge. It comes with a Singer brand flat screen TV, but without Astro or any of the free local TV receptions. No remote for the TV as well, so it is pretty much useless, unless you brought along your laptop that you can connect to the TV as a display. Berjaya didn’t even provide bottled water, and the tapwater is yellowish in color, so please bring along some drinking water for your own use.

The blocks looks really run down, and it is even scarier at night with corridors that are not properly lit. Saw some dodgy looking female patrons with racy outfits coming in at night, hopefully they are not doing what I suspect they are doing.

All in all, very disappointed service by Berjaya group. They didn’t maintain the units properly, yet at the same time continue to charge exorbitant maintenance fees to...

They are in 1 same building but different house different owner, and also different look.. so it depends on how their owner manage and clean the house. My experience was ok but some owner's stuff still there, if you want to rent a house as resort please make it as proper and comfortable as possible not make it like your own house..customers first!

Also I found a little bit of rubbish under sofa, hair on my pillow, curtain that can be easily fall.. And to management of the apartment, or to anyone responsible.. replace your old 70s elevator to a new one! you are in a hoteling business!

I use my own bed sheet too as I'm not sure if they really cleanup the place. But price is awesome, and before book a house there please visit the house first and check everything.

The place is a big potential for owners, as people also can hear and see a calm and gorgeous beach just at the balcony but please do...
