Mtree Hotel Nilai — Hotel in Negeri Sembilan

Staff is not friendly. Doesn't take care of its patrons. Request for extra bottles of water was not only rejected verbally. Said they would ask somone to bring to the room but as one waited, it never arrived. Second request was still the same. Only third request that the person said that they have already placed the bottle of water in the room when we checked in. (So in fact the staff indirectly told us off by stating that no request of extra bottle of water). The next day, during breakfast time, they did not have enough food for the guests having breakfast. The following day, coming down for breakfast, plates and cups were not cleared. They were left on tables (limited number), counter and even the table where food were placed. Another negative point is the cleaner was sweeping the floor while people were having their breakfast. There was a foreigner who came in the morning and registered his stay. He was asked to pay cash as deposit as his room stay had been paid for. He had no cash in hand but the counter clerk asked him to go to the ATM to withdraw. She should have given direction to the foreigner as to where to go to withdraw. The coffee and tea given for breakfast was like drinking plain water. Disgusting stay: When I first arrived at my room, there are inconsiderate Indians listening to loud music next to my room (poor sound proofing between rooms). I was then heading to counter request for changing room. Staff are cooperated in assisting to change room for me. And when I got the card and open the door of new room, it was a twin bed (I'm expecting large king/queen bed). Was pretty disappointed by the moment, and when we tried to combine the twin bed by putting them side by side, the floor under the bed was apparently not cleaned. There seems to be a buildup of dust there for quite some time. It was actually pretty easy to move the bed and clean the floor, they must have been hiring some lazy cleaners or paying very low wages. Not only that, the mattress/bed sheet has also yellow stains that was not cleaned. It was freaking DISGUSTING DAFUQ. The toothpaste was also not provided until I headed to counter to ask for it. And the thing is, it costs me 4-stars hotel price but having such bad experience (probably one of the worst hotel room I've ever stay in). My husband stayed there together with his team as recommended by the company that its the usual hotel they always stay because its really near to the sepang track. Though its a budget hotel, trusted by the company and we’ve nvr met this kind of situation before. My husband placed SGD 1000 in the safe box as he doesn’t wanna carry so much cash with him because he is travelling to KL to meet his friends on the 14th, last minute decided to book a better hotel in KL to stay with his friends, at Grand Hyatt.
