The Lorong Nilai — Restaurant in Negeri Sembilan

The Lorong offers a diverse range of cuisines, from Arabic to shellout, sate, Western, and Malay food. We decided to explore almost every stall here, thanks to their straightforward online ordering system that conveniently displays daily menu availability.

One noteworthy highlight of our visit was the special RM1.00 sate promotion for dine-in customers that night. The drinks menu also offered a delightful variety to choose from. However, there was a minor hiccup when we ordered 2 sizzling yee mee but received only one, apparently due to an oversight by the seller. It was reassuring that the staff promptly apologized for the delay, apparently that such mistakes were not uncommon due to the system display.

Moving on to the food, the grill chicken spaghetti stood out for its incredibly juicy and well-seasoned chicken. Unfortunately, the pasta accompanying it was overcooked and lacked flavor. The shellout was nice & spicy.

One definite advantage of The Lorong is its reasonable pricing. The indoor seating provided a comfortable setting, although it's worth noting that the outdoor area was closed, possibly due to rain, limiting the Instagram spot. Seafood fried rice RM8 contains 1 pc of shrimp and 1 pc of frozen squid. Chicken chop RM13++ can give 3⭐️ but dont really like how the dish was served because they simply pour the gravy on the chicken. The chicken also not so juicy and really dry. I was the only customer at that time but it took forever for the chef to prepare my chicken chop. I used to have meal here or take away before the pandemic. They have a lot choice of food and the taste also superb like laksa sarawak, kolo mee, their western also not bad. They also used to have chinese muslim dish before. It's a joke actually, because first of all the restaurant itself don't have a theme. If U want to open as a steamboat restaurant just do so and not open as a restaurant just like at the night market or uptown. This is because your a restaurant. Second of all, you have open for 1 week but still U cannot manage the QUANTITY of your food. I came at 9.00 p.m but many of the food already finish and the staff cannot show the right way to the upper part of the restaurant. Sorry but it a bad experience for me.
