Lumut Hotel — Hotel in Perak

When first entered the hotel, met a Chinese Lady at the front desk, who was very friendly, polite and professional and gave lots of information.

Rooms are on the first floor. Need to climb stairs, but this is okay, since this is a budget hotel. And also, need to deposit RM100 which will be returned on checkout.

The hallway to the rooms is bright and clean.

There are good security measures for the room, the same quality as those installed in 4 and 5 star hotels.

The room is clean and neat. The bathroom has non-slip gravel tiles and the toilet is separated from the shower area with a glass partition.

The bed was surprisingly soft.

The room has a water boiler with 2 packets of 3-in-1 coffee and 2 bottles of water.

Aircond is cool and also has a fan and a LED TV.

Just opposite the hotel, there is a convenience store. And beside, there's DIY. Walking distance to the jetty, shops and bank. Near to many restaurants and bar.

We arrived without a plan in Lumut. So we decided to stay in the town centre where we can just walk around the town. We came across this hotel and the reviews were also good. I have to say that it was the best decision ever to book this hotel. We booked a family room for 2 nights. The room is clean, the beds are comfy and soft and the aircond is super cold. The wifi is also great. The hotel is quiet even though we have a connecting door but we cannot hear any noise from our neighbouring room. The hotel is located exactly in the town centre. The jetty to Pangkor is just within 5 minutes. Local foods are all within 5 minutes walk...

The hotel is easy to find and in a great location—very close to 99 Speedmart, KFC, and several restaurants. There’s a parking lot available, but you'll need to pay using the Perak parking app. The room and toilet were both clean and well-maintained. The TV has YouTube, which was a nice bonus. The environment is calm and quiet, perfect for a relaxing stay. The receptionist was very friendly, and both check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free.
