Capri Restaurant ( Pekan Lumut, Perak ) — Restaurant in Perak

The environment is good, great place to chill out & dine in. Good staff but the waitress / booster who served whom I will not mentioned the name could have been more confident in her self to show that she knows her stuff as she's friendly.

The price is similar to what we are having in KL which a 2 person dine in cost about RM104-110 which is reasonable as food portion was acceptable despite the area consider a tourist area.

Food quality was just at the border line of being A OK, the Salmon Salad was a bit of disappointed as the salmon was freshly frozened, the slice technique of slicing a salmon was not done properly hence made the salmon meat loosed its texture and frozen it made it loosed its natural tenderness.

The Seafood Tom yum spoup was a unique combination between Italian & Thai herbs, but could have add a little bit extras cheese to complete the flavor.

Braised lamp shank portion was good, but the improper frozen lamp made the meat harder to absorb the braised herbs aroma which created a two different flavor instead of a "fused" flavored.

Cheese stuffed grille chicken breast was ok, but too much cheese in it. It would be perfect if the cheese was reduced / spiced it with herbs.

Mango juice drinks was not freshy squeezed despite theres a bazaar selling fruits not far away from the restaurant.

Whisky Irish Coffee was excellence.

Overall, it is an acceptable experience, but they could have do something to spice the restaurant up to attract more local customer during off-peak season, as Lumut consider a quiet town. So that they could have a little more finance to upgrade and maintain food standard :)

After some time, decided to drop by and give it a try. Was utterly disappointed. The apple crumble tasted neutral nothing special to talk about. Their sausage was overpriced as it was frozen & like those sausages you can get from hypermarkets costing less than RM5 for 3 pieces. The red wine infused risotto is nice though. When ordering, the waiter had difficulty in understanding yet didn't bother to double confirm with us. Got our orders wrong , so we had to end taking away the extra order (all we did was just ask what's the dish name on a picture we saw on Google maps review, we didn't place the order) & instead of getting ready the apple crumble we ordered, he thought the apple crumble was to be taken away... Sorry to say but won't be coming back.

Great interior design, great service and nice food presentation but food was a bit disappointing for my first visit here. Lamb shank was gamey, chicken parmigiana was bit too salty but the appetiser was just unacceptable. Calamari fritti came in a big plate with only like 12 pieces of pathetic looking 'cheezel' size deep fried squid. So overpriced!
