GARDEN INNS MOTEL — Hotel in Perlis

The rooms are on the first floor. U get 2 access cards n a key as soon as u register. There is no lift to go up so wheelchairs users may have a problem here unless they have converted a room near the reception.You need to pay a down payment of rm50 when u register.The room itself is clean and small. They give 1 sachet of coffee( indocafe) and 1 500ml bottle of water complementary. The bedsheet is clean but there are occasional black ants crawling over the surface. There is hot water but water pressure is a bit weak. There is a kettle in the room and 1 towel. The supply of shampoo n bath gel is adequate My complaint is that the latch was not attached to the wall so I only had the door lock( it's a double lock) to lock my door... On asking the management, they said that the area is secure as they have CCTV and only occupants have the access keycard to...

We stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days (RM214) — quite affordable for a short stay. It’s a good budget option if you’re just looking for a place to rest. The room is compact but just nice for two people.

However, the ironing area is located outside the room at the corridor. It’s quite hot since there’s no air conditioning there. The aircond in our room also wasn’t very cold, not sure why.

And last night, there was a sudden blackout while I was showering, even though the key card was still in place, not sure what happened there.

On the bright side, the location is excellent and right in the heart of the new town area, close to everything you need. Convenient, complete and easy to access.

Hotel is strategically located to Kuala perlis jetty and an ample restaurants to choose from and just walking distance from the hotel (a&w, zus coffee, subway, starbucks and many more). Parking is easy to get.

Room is clean and complete with basic necessities (hot shower, water heater and towels). Aircond is functioning well and cold. But there is no lift to get you to second floor.
