The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf — Restaurant in Perlis

I've visited this Coffee Bean branch a few times, but tonight was by far the worst experience in terms of service and atmosphere. I ordered a Cookie Cream Ice Blended and a Cham Ice Blended. The wait was unusually long—so much so that my wife came down to check on me.

When I finally received the drinks, both were extremely runny—nothing like the proper consistency of an ice-blended beverage. For the record, my wife and I are not usually picky with food or drinks, but this was disappointing, especially considering the premium price.

I raised the issue with the staff and requested a remake. Fortunately, the barista was professional and accommodating, but I had to wait another 15 minutes for the replacements. In total, I spent more time waiting for our drinks than actually enjoying time with my wife and daughter.

CBTL is the only coffee place that I feel comfortable to study or do writings at, due to the seating and availability of power sockets. Would be nicer if more sockets are added because sometimes the existing ones were fully used especially during weekends. Another plus point is the availability of praying rooms & washrooms. For washrooms, please make sure you know the right sign for ladies or gents! Haha. The only drawback I noticed is that the wifi connection that has become a common issue here. The connection was poor, EVERY SINGLE TIME. Please fix on this issue as we are entitled for 2 hours free wifi upon purchase in a single receipt but we only roughly had 1 hour...

Carelessly left my pouch bag in the toilet room when I had my drink in the cafe, and didn’t realise it until I went home. Quickly rushing back to the cafe but it was not in the toilet room anymore.
