C19 unlockdown 3rd wabes my Big Sista Birthday Bash at Hotel UITM Restaurant. Its been awhile we haven't step into Uitm eversince both of my elders sis graduate long time ago. We are here today not juz for the birthday bash, but a small family dinner after almost a year havent see each other like all big bradha and big sista. And one more thing, this place, brings alot of gud mum memories mums back in the days while she waz doing her diploma in Hotel Catering & Management/ Hotel Management & culinary in these days terms🤭 but mum end up her course not being a chef pr hotelier but move into education and became Headmaster. Talk abt the Uitm Restaurant, it doesn't look like happenin anymore, which i dont understand why??izit probably bcoz of the closing of Driving range at the across the road opposite the hotel 15years ago??hmm..i wonder??🤔cz this used to be me and my late dad and all his friends and school mate meetup after d.range session or jz go down for a coffee or on The weekends for the barbeque that usually having alot sort of promo as apart of the the attractive attractions of F&B. And talk abt this present the layout of the building, but the restaurant, are abit different with a touch of new element of interior of dark wood and the dining custom chandelier mix and match of the old skool and modern local Element, pretty much i guess😜. And the food, A good selective of Asian, eastern & Western. Abit of local, thai, mexican, western& etc. The food is ok, jz the portion are abit small for my type of person🤭 And the food presentation are very simple plus with a normal round plate servings. Im actually was hoping for somethng abit more different then bck in the days..bt nope, its not happenin here yet🤦 overall, its ok but wpuld be great if they can do more ncoz its seems that UiTM are wasting that huge space for the parking. Can do better rather then empty parking spot everytime i drive passed this plz. Would it also be great if this plz cn do Buffet/all u cn eat like the ones in U.K. only for lunch and dinner for student and especially for shah alam resident. Gud food pay less..Good Job, Well done..no offence, im jz writing from my point of view, not ere to judge, but to share and so u can improve more better, stringer& faster.nothing personal ya,Plz do ignore this review. Hotel UiTM are one of the best hotel that I loved to stay kalau dtg shah alam berbanding hotel lain (Byk kali stay sini haha). The price are affordable n come with breakfast buffet package n their food are nice too. Kalau lapar, order je food dekat hotel. No need to go out sbb mmg sedap n berbaloi. Sy paling suka nasi goreng cili api & Pasta in spicy buttermilk w grilled chicken, i guess. So marvelous 😭. Just call from yr room for order n can pickup dekat cafe or delivery to yr room too. As overall, I really enjoyed staying here....

Feels bloody psychedelic. Like you stepped into a time warp and you're transferred back to the 70s or 80s!

Bad experience started from check-in with a really rude male Receptionist. Room is okay but O L D.

Hotel desperately needs a renovation. In one of the piccies I took, you'll see like a large hole being plastered over and left unpainted. Like seriously?!!

Price is okay but not dirt cheap or 'budget' either. B/fast is good but try to find newer places to stay in the vicinity.
