Our visit on 14 Sep 2025 was very underwhelming, and I hope the management can take this feedback constructively.

Admission & Overcrowding The RM32 (total of RM224 for 7 pax) admission fee felt wasted. We spent almost two hours just queueing for the e-ticket kiosk, bag check, finding a seat, and arranging cabana/tube rental. By the time we entered the pool (around 12.30pm), the crowd was overwhelming and queues for rides were extremely long. It was so congested that we lost the mood to enjoy the park and left by 3pm. ➡️ Suggestion: Limit the number of visitors during peak periods (school holidays, long weekends) for a safer and more enjoyable experience. Better buy walk in (since the queue are shorter)

Cabana Pricing & Public Areas VIP cabana costs RM300 and the cheapest Silver is RM100 — quite steep for families. The public seating area was uncomfortable in comparison, with minimal shade and poor ventilation. ➡️ Suggestion: Provide more shaded spaces, fans, and resting areas for non-cabana visitors.

Food & Service Food queues were long, service was slow, and prices were on the high side. Clearly, staff numbers were insufficient for the crowd. ➡️ Suggestion: Introduce a mobile app for food ordering, cabana and tube booking. This would reduce congestion at counters. Also, hire more part-timers on weekends and peak seasons.

Facilities & Convenience The locker sizes were good, but the locker room itself was small and got very crowded. Toilets were poorly maintained and hard to find — I only noticed one near the entrance. Signage around the park was also confusing. ➡️ Suggestion: Expand locker facilities, improve toilet cleanliness and distribution throughout the park, and enhance signage/maps for easier navigation.

Payment Method Only accepting cash in 2025 is unacceptable. Most visitors expect cashless options like e-wallets, cards, or QR pay. ➡️ Suggestion: Upgrade the payment system to modern standards.

Staff Presence There were very few staff members visible inside the park. It was difficult to find assistance if anyone was lost or needed help. ➡️ Suggestion: Place more customer service and safety officers at key locations to guide and assist visitors.

Overall: The park has good potential but suffers from poor crowd management, outdated systems, and underwhelming facilities. With better planning — especially visitor limits, improved facilities, and a proper mobile app — the experience could be much better.

Unfortunately, based on this visit, I...

Grabcar from our apartment near bukit bintang area. Bought our tickets the night before from klook. Check in thru kiosk, the friendly staff ladies helped us out and did a bag search coz no outside food allowed and we had breakfast beforehand. There's a souvenir shop selling swimsuits, goggles, snacks and cotton candy vending machine and toy vending machine for the kids. Wetworld Keychain souvenir was rm14. Us Singaporeans got lucky coz didn't clash with Malaysia school holidays. Only less than 20 families there when we went on Tuesday 10 June 2025 12pm to 2pm. Good weather. Google maps said it was cloudy all day. Could have stayed there longer if the kids were older. Yes I could leave my 6 and 7 year old go on and on alone on the yellow Caribbean body slide. No we did not rent the rm25 float (deposit rm25). Did not rent gazebo. I brought my own swim diapers for toddler. The ice teh tarek was delish. The kids like the jumbo sausage on stick rm6. Nasi lemak, smash burgers and Mac and cheese were rm20. Drinks and ice cream rm 4. Yes we bought the photo for rm45 I think. Only one body slide was not smooth at all so u will get stuck and push yourself down which is not fun. There's 3 areas for my two yr old toddler. A small and old waterpark. I will return tho. It's cheap and good when it's not crowded. Yes the toilets were clean, cubicles small. Got surau there, hairdryer use coins, two baby changing stations, park benches to eat and put your stuff maybe 50 tables. Bring cash. Go on the big blue water slide in the middle. Short and fast slide for everybody. Got two swings and two...

A nice family friendly park, not for the thrillseekers!

As a place to bring the family and cool of from the heat, Wet World Shah Alam delivers on all counts. However what is has in shady relaxed vibes it lacks in thrilling rides. The staff were friendly but with us going just before the MCO in March 2020 there were not many people to guard!

The park is well kept with clean water, the changing rooms and toilets were also clean and serviceable. Lockers are available but are single use only and are 5rm per use. Tube rental is 25rm plus 25rm deposit.

FACTS + FIGURES

TOP TIP: Share your tube with friends as the slide are on a schedule so you cannot use it that much at once.

Payments In Park: Cash

Rides: 5 Slides (6 being generous) + Kids Area.

Pools: 1 Large Pool + 1 Smaller Pool and a Splash section the water was clean in all of them.

Flooring: The floor does get hot but there is plenty of shade to stay out of the sun.

Shade and chairs: Chairs (no charge) and plenty of shade.

Cabanas: Gold (4-6 people) with Fan, Safety Box and Mini Fridge- 150rm (+100rm deposit) | Silver (4-6) - 100rm (+50rm deposit) with Fan

Changing Rooms: Separate Men and Womens, clean not smelly.

Lockers: Yes single use for 5rm

Food: Snacks (fries, fish balls, fried chicken) around 5rm

Drinks: Plenty of kiosks for drink around the park. Water - 2rm Soft Drinks - 3.5rm

It's been many years since we have been here but it was fun for our kiddos, ages 3-12. The biggest attraction was the long slide, though it broke down a few times while we were there. Make sure to come prepared with some cash (RM25 + RM25 deposit) to rent a double tube (only double tubes are available). If you skip out on the tube you will be unable to enjoy most of the bigger rides. They do not take any other payments for rental. There are "Cabanas" you could rent as well if your family members just want to chill or take naps. It's only a one time entry and you are not able to come back in if you go out. They do not allow outside food either, but the prices of food inside is decent - rm 6 for burger, rm8 for nasi lemak, etc. There are one time use lockers for rent for rm5, but it seems like most people just place their items on the available bench and tables. So leave all your important belongings behind at home and bring only the bare minimum if that is what you want to do. Bathrooms and showers are a little outdated and not the cleanest, but you just make do. There are no bathroom stalls in the mens, just fyi --- be prepared to shower in the open if you are a guy. Lastly... just remember to bring lots of sunblock and enjoy yourselves!
