Very, very basic guest house. Very very food in a very limited choice. Actually, we didn't come there for food, so. But.. One experience with ordering octopus was very bad. I don't want to waste time on writing the details. Mango fresh has a slight hint of the taste of mango fresh. it's water, ice and some amount of something. Cleaning is very very basic regardless of whether or not to tip the cleaning personnel. Service and personnel. At first, I wanted to write that the people at the guest houme are fantastic and very kind. Yes, sure, there are some. But in general, they are pretending that they are kind and helpful. Unfortunately, couple of time I faced the situations which proved me their unprofessionalism, pretense and playing to the public. Speaking about Maldivian people in general (diving centre, excursions, bars, shops) I have very very experience with them. I find them very kind and sincere.||Service... For example. We didn't have chairs near our room (like every room has) and couple of times asked about that. Every time they told some stories. In fact, they didn't bring us chairs. ||||But all this is actually has almost 0 importance comparing to the main issue - garbage. Because we are coming to Maladives first of all to see the beaty if the paradise on the Earth. And coming to the guest house we shouldn't expect service of 5 star resort, of course. But what we see here is simply a huge pity and disappoinment. All the island is just a paradise for the wastes. People don't care on it at all. I do understand that Araamu Holiday Guesthouse staff is not responsible for all the island. But what they can do is to clean at least their beach. They don't do it! I mentioned that to the management and asked them if they had seen their beach. To which they answer that they are very busy and haven't been there for a long time... 2 minutes at a slow pace. To see what you are responsible for... Say no more.||Do I recommend this hotel and island? Definitely NO. NO! NO! NO! ||There are much much much better places on Maladives even at the same price level.||||A short address to the people of Dhiffusi in particular and Maldives in general as a summary of the trip.||If you don't respect yourself and want to live in a garbage dump - that's your right, Ok. ||If you don't respect nature - that's it, OK. ||If you do not respect the unique nature of the place where you live - it is difficult to comment on something, but OK. ||If you do not respect people who bring you money and, accordingly, a better life - OK, let's not be mercantile here. ||If you don't know how to clean up on your own beach, you are, first of all, unprofessional. Ok.||BUT. And the most importantly. If you receive and invite guests to such a place - I'm sorry, I can't find the words. Then at least you definitely deserve to live in a pig sty.||||P.S.1 - twice I cleaned the araamu beach near our 2 sunbeds. One photo shows a bag. Somehow I was too shocked to pick up more photos of collected garbage.||BUT||P.S.2 - you will plenty of opportunities to take hundreds thousands of photos of the wastes and garbage on this island. I just didn't want to spoil my phone...

1.I have confirmed telephonic call and email with the reception that we are coming on 1st jan 2021 ,she told ok at 5pm near Smoking jetty in Male airport ,shared boat you will get ,then we were waiting for boat ,when no response or boat was not there then i went to info desk ,they told us to call receptionist, she said shared boat is cancelled which is 35$ pax now i can send private boat only which is 85$pax due to bad weather condition. I said first of all you have to inform that the boat is cancelled and when the weather is bad how can u send private boat??. She was laughing in that serious moment ,this is there professionalism??
After all they send the shared boat(in the name of private boat) only and cost me 50$ pax around 7pm.
When i checked out from hotel they send the same shared boat in the morning cost us 35$.I have the proof as a photo of the boat.
2.Very stratigically they planned for shared boat at 7.30am and they told we will give you breakfast as packet, which i have payed before while booking the ticket, hotel boy said i will give to your boat crew they will handover once you reached Male airport as drop location, when we reached there was no box was given,i dont know the how much careless they are.
3.Before checking out from the hotel one day before i went to reccetion and said plz contact my next hotel what are there requirements so tht no problem will be there, She said ok. They require split test as medical condtion check ,for which they charge 25$ for 2 person , i have paid without saying any word, but what she said is first i have to take money from u then i will inform doctor to come here, seriously i have not seen or heard this type of words before, very dissappointing. Morever my next hotel receptionist H78 in Hulmulae that plz inform the guest that complimentary our transportation will be there to receive from Male airport. She was not informed to us ,we have taken taxi to hotel ,very irresponsible
when we ask for any excursions she(receptionist) said sorry weather is bad ,we cant do
then i ask for water sports activities then she said sorry Jetski is not working
then i asked whether we can use your hotel indor games ,she said sorry ,it is temporary closed
literally we spent 2days in room, nothing to see ,beach was not that great.
One good thing was Manager Mr.Hussain understand our pain and frustration ,change our worst room to nice sea view room.Really thanks for that as we are in our honeymoon ,as room they have given earlier their balcony was facing to a concrete wall only.
Finally if u focus only on money ur hotel will never improve ,only u will see downfall. Focus on customer
Seriously i am on Maldives for 7days nearly 4 hotels i stayed there, nearly all hotel were perfect they know their responsibility ,customer centric and...

As soon as I got here I knew I’m in a good hands. As for a single woman traveler who also works remotely, I needed to find a nice, safe and quiet place with a good reliable internet connection. And I found this oasis of peace, good size comfortable and clean rooms, amazing sunrise/sunset terrace, top notch customer service and 5* resort quality food. Hotel management is willing to accommodate all your needs and staff goes extra mile to serve you. They genuinely care that you are looked after like a VIP guest. And most importantly - staff looks really happy to work here! Which is so refreshing to see after I’ve witnessed some overworked and exhausted staff in other luxury resort island just before coming here, where guys do 16h shifts without any day off and they can barely talk as they work half asleep.
After 5 nights of staying here, for me the main highlights were: 1 - Wonderful staff 2 - Food (very professional kitchen) 3 - Great massage at the SPA, 4 - Nice & clean facilities, 5 - Reliable internet connection (strong enough for audio calls).
Suggestions: 1 - please don’t give us so many plastic bottles of water (at some point I ended up with 6 bottles in my room). Not sure if you recycle those bottles at all, but you might want to invest in some water filter and glass bottles instead. 2- Not a fault of this hotel at all, but the island is really in need of some clear up. 3 - I would suggest you have some snacks and some sort of menu to attract people to spend time in your top...
