Noorani Retreat — Hotel in Malé Atoll

Great value and great stay. We had a bit of an issue at the start as we were placed in the wrong room, and then the room we were then placed in did not have functioning hot water. However this was resolved quickly on the night so we had no further issues. Mahedi was very accommodating and cleaned the room as requested, as well as providing us cooked breakfast. The room was a good size, perhaps good have had some more storage but otherwise great. Bed was comfy and large, and shampoo & shower gel were provided in the bathroom. Location was a little further away from the bikini beach but had good shops nearby and was quiet. Some cons would be that sound does carry within the guesthouse - there was a group who stayed the same time and we were woken up when they returned late at night (less the guesthouse's fault and more the guests). We had a great stay in Noorani retreat. Mahedi was a brilliant host, very attentive and always available. He met us at the dock on arrival and helped carry our bags to the hotel.

The accommodation itself is very new, clean and extremely comfortable. The courtyard has seating areas and coffee and tea available at all times. Out the front there is plenty of space to dry clothes. The breakfast was okay, good portion sizes.

Such a beautiful hotel, so glad we chose to stay here while we were in Dhiffushi! The rooms and bathroom were super clean and tidy, the bedsheets and towels smelt very clean and fresh. Great amount of space in the room with area to put bags and hang up our clothes. Cannot fault this place! If we are ever back on Dhiffushi we will definitely stay here as we loved it so much! Mahedi is so friendly and runs the place on his own which is incredible! He even came to pick us up from the port when we arrived which was a lovely...
