Go local, skip the resort! We absolutely loved our stay here ❤️.
Location & rooms: we had the family room on top with a huge rooftop terrace. Stylish and spacious room! Highly recommended. The house is right at bikini beach. This is still a muslim country, but they are very open towards western lifestyle. You can wear a bikini on bikini beach and even sleevless tops or shorts in the street. Food: they do inhouse meals so you can choose to have dinner (and even lunch) here. We highly recommended trying their food. The cook prepares yummy maledivian meals! Don't miss out on that. Staff: the people working here make this place special. The house is really lucky to have such dynamic, young people. Abu organised tours for us (try the shark & stingray tour), transfer etc.
If you want to experience local culture, this is your place. If you are after luxury, a water villa, spa&massage go to a resort.
If I had to change something, I would add more healthy stuff to the breakfast buffet. More fruit, yoghurt, veggies maybe. But that is just a personal preference. The rest of the family loved the pancakes etc. And this is just a small island, after all.
We really hope tourism will not destroy your island. Good luck with all your...
Read moreIt’s hard to put into words just how amazing our time here was. As a family of four with two teenagers, we came mainly for surfing—but we got so much more.
Abu and the team are the Superhosts with a capital S! From the very first messages before our arrival, we knew we were coming to the right place. He made us feel confident that everything would be taken care of—and it truly was. From the airport transfer to the island trip, from getting us to the beach house to everything that followed, Abu handled it all seamlessly.
He made sure we could reach the right people to take us to the surf spots—even when nobody else wanted to go (but we were determined to make the most of every second there!). He arranged take-away food when we needed it, set up snorkeling and fishing trips at the best prices, and even took care of the sea urchin stings we got after stubbornly surfing Cokes at low tide. 😄And not to mention delicious breakfasts the guys organized every day despite Ramadan...
More than just a trip, this felt like an experience of a lifetime. We felt truly welcomed in Kudhi Boli and believe we’ve started a friendship we’d love to return to. Not for a second did it feel like “just business.”

Read moreMaldivian hospitality at its finest. Warm and friendly welcome by all the staff (and a coconut to drink: Delicious!). Guesthouse is brand new so everything looks intact. Budget room is spacious and bed is extra extra large (and also very comfy!) Nice and clean bathroom. Room has a ceiling fan and also air con. Guesthouse is located literally 20 steps away from bikini beach and close to all local cafes and restaurants( and the touristy ones too). Thuludshoo is small, so everything is less than 5min away walking. If I have to give some feedback I would say 1- a bedside locker would be nice ( there is nowhere to put a bottle of water or phone while charging by the bed). 2- Breakfast could be a bit more varied. A local breakfast option would be a nice touch and 3- cleaning frequency in the rooms could be improved, at least in the budget room I stayed. Overall I had a fantastic stay, it exceeded my expectations by far. Thank you so so much to all the team in khudi boli beach guesthouse for an amazing and very enjoyable stay, specially to Shada, who was just a sweet heart. I would 100% recommend this guesthouse and if I'm ever back in thuludshoo, I would definitely stay here again....
