This was our first time to Maldives and we picked Naladhu as a strong choice in terms of location, amenities, value, and especially the private island aspect of the great home and exclusive restaurant. Overall, it was an excellent and memorable trip and a strong choice. The most outstanding things are, first, the home itself. I researched this resort and knew what we were going to experience and the house still exceeded expectations. The home is large, very comfortable, has great décor and amenities, has an amazing view and position right on the ocean, and the outdoor shower and indoor shower/steam sauna are incredible things to have in your own home. Maldives is resort paradise with all major hotel/resort brands well represented and we had at least a half dozen serious choices to choose from and we picked Naladhu not the least of which for the house and it was a very good choice. This was also meant to be a surfing vacation to explore Maldives' strong reputation of a surfing destination. That part fell short of expectations in terms of the selection of surf breaks nearby and how crowded they were and/or suitability for our level. Picking a different resort for surfing priority in the future would mean not Naladhu or the North Male area. The food at the "Living Room" restaurant was of high quality and very good. They are eager to please you with whatever your desires are and make great efforts to get what you like and prepare it the way you prefer. We had several themed meals (and deserts) and had a very good time. The service and staff are great across the overall property and islands. They are all friendly, good at what they do, and we especially thought the spa did an excellent job on our two visits. We also snorkeled at snorkel island and also did some sailing with a skipper from the aqua center, which was fun. The location is far enough from Male that you will feel relaxed and at a slow pace to enjoy the great surroundings. But, if you want to feel truly in the middle of the ocean and feel away from civilization, I would venture further out on future visits for that desire.

Pure perfection. The turquoise water and white sand beaches provide an ideal location for romance, relaxation and recreation. Naladhu’s staff were the best of the best. Aslam — our outstanding, kind, and knowledgeable Kuwaanu (Butler) who would assist in making all our reservations plus any other requests during our stay. Maishan who accessorized our house with charming messages and towel art and surprisingly drew me a bath that was adorned with flowers. So relaxing!! Chef Mikael and his staff prepared the most delicious meals while accommodating our culinary requests — scrambled tofu breakfasts, Egyptian koshary lunch, and an anniversary cake — we’re still dreaming of that delicious rich dark chocolate vegan cake. Thank you to everyone else who made this vacation so wonderful. We’re already planning our next trip back.

Naladhu exceeded all my expectations and provided one of the most remarkable experiences of my life. From the moment I arrived, the impeccable service and attention to detail were evident. The food was exquisite, and every meal felt like a culinary adventure. The resort's surroundings, with the mesmerizing turquoise waters, were truly breathtaking. Naladhu is a haven of perfection, offering an unforgettable and luxurious escape in the Maldives. My stay there will be cherished as a memory of a lifetime. Ameen Al Qadhi was our Kuwaanu, He was the absolute best! There wasn’t a moment during the holiday were we felt unsupported, he was helpful in every situation! We’ll probably visit the exact same place if we can do it all again!!!

Just returned from a week spent in Naladhu Private Island with my wife which to my surprise was one of the best I have stayed in the Maldives during my visits the last 20 years.||Were booked in a Beach House with Pool which was very spacious, airy with a nice pool one step away from the bedroom and the bathroom! Steps further you had the beautiful lagoon crystal clear waters.||However after 2 days and a kind acceptance by our extremely efficient & helpful butler Mohamad ( he is Egyptian which was a very nice surprise for us as we live in Alex ) to let us see the Ocean House with Pool . My wife immediately fell for the mesmerizing views of the Indian Ocean and the sounds of the waves all day long so we asked and moved the day after in it. The fact a Cabana on the Beach of the lagoon is offered is a plus since you have the best of both worlds. Ocean views all day and a quite lagoon to swim when you want to, what more can one ask for?|The villa is exactly the same with the Beach House with the only difference being the Ocean amazing views.||Loved going daily to swim in Gulifushi Island which is 5 min by boat away and has some amazing beaches while being served in Tikki Bar some refreshing cocktails! Spent at least 2 hours swimming daily there as it is so calm and beautful.||Had booked on a HB basis and to be honest we never regretted it! Breakfast was a la carte contrary to what we were used to in other Luxury Resorts ( Open Buffet ) but it was every bit as rich while quality and service in the Living Room Restaurant ( the only one available on the island ) were top notch.||Anything we felt like having and I mean it that, was available. Special French cheeses / a big selection of omelettes / eggs along with plenty of marmalades / Danish pastries, croissants and of course exotic fruit platters daily ( you also mention which fruits you prefer, the same goes with the fresh fruit juices or champagne )||The particularity of this Resort is it is connected two other Anantara Resorts ( Veli & Dhigu ) which have another 6 restaurants where you can have your lunch or dinner. This left us with a big selection of cuisines of which we took full advantage.||Origami which offers Tapanyaki / Sashimi / Sushi was excellent both in food quality and service. Baan Hua the Thai restaurant overlooking both the Lagoon & Ocean was excellent too.|Tried also Sea Salt & Fire which again has amazing views while the menu is top quality. ||However we liked Living Room restaurant in our Island so much that we also ended up ordering from Origami the Chef’s amazing 20 sashimi / sushi Boat selection here while on another night ordered their Tomahawk 1000 gm meat to share which was simply out of this world! The same with the Grilled Seafood Basket to share which we had for 2 nights as we could not have enough of it.||All in all this Resort offers beatiful Villas, excellent food wherever you decide to dine or even get you your favorite dishes from any of the 6 others restaurants in Veli & Dhigu to enjoy them in Naladhu.||Last but not least I have to give special credit to the Resort Manager Ali Shameen who welcomed us very warmly since we arrived and was daily checking on us making sure we were very satisfied during our stay. ||A special mention to Mohamad our ever present butler who was just a phone call away during our whole stay. Also to Ouda ( another Egyptian here ) who was so helpful giving us advice with the extensive menus of so many restaurants.|On the last night met also Arnab who is the Head Chef in our Island and behind some delicious dishes like Wagyu Carpaccio Salad, scallops grilled and the remarkable Lobster offered in the Seafood Basket.||Andrea was such a warm & helpful person at Living Room the same as Elisa & Mostafa ( another one of Egyptian contingency ) in Origami while I forget the name of the lady who served us in Baan Hura who was so sweet and helpful too.||Overall this Resort is definitely one the most customer friendly we have been to and we are already thinking of visiting again next year.||If you need a calm and beautiful Maldivian Resort with only 20 Villas Overall, beautiful beaches and want to be surrounded by professional staff and enjoy excellent dining options doubt you can find a better one.||Definitely recommend it and am sure anyone visiting it will end up...

The Maldives have been our favorite destination for years, and this was our tenth visit. We have had the privilege of staying in some of the most luxurious resorts, but our experience at Naladhu Private Island was truly extraordinary—it exceeded all expectations and redefined what luxury hospitality truly means.||From the moment we arrived, the team at Naladhu ensured that every aspect of our stay was seamless and magical. Although we experienced a minor inconvenience at the beginning of our stay, it was resolved with such professionalism, care, and efficiency that we were left even more impressed. The dedication to guest satisfaction is unmatched, and it is evident that the staff takes great pride in their work.||We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to General Manager Mr. Michael Parker, whose leadership is evident in every detail of the resort, and to Resort Manager Mrs. Shaaz, whose warmth and professionalism made us feel instantly at home. A special thank you goes to our wonderful butler, Mr. Mohamed, who anticipated our every need with elegance and discretion, and to our dear Mico, whose outstanding service, attention, and personal touch turned every meal and drink into a celebration. Mico particularly impressed us with his effort to create unforgettable moments—his signature cocktail, “Pretty Lady,” was the best we’ve ever had. From the bottom of our hearts, we also thank the lovely Ribba, who fulfilled all our wishes, and the fantastic chef Arnab.||Accommodation||The villas are a true masterpiece of elegance and comfort—spacious, beautifully designed, and impeccably maintained. Every detail, from the luxurious furnishings to the serene atmosphere, is thoughtfully curated to provide the ultimate sense of relaxation and privacy. Waking up each morning to views of the pristine lagoon felt like a dream.||Dining||The culinary experience at Naladhu is nothing short of extraordinary. The chefs are true artists, capable of preparing anything your heart desires. From fresh, vibrant juices to expertly crafted meals, every dish is a work of art. The staff’s willingness to accommodate personal preferences made every meal feel special and unique.||Wellness and Activities||The SPA center is a true oasis of peace, offering world-class treatments and massages that rejuvenate both body and mind. The lagoon surrounding the island is breathtaking, with crystal-clear waters inviting you to relax and unwind. Whether enjoying the tranquil beauty of the beach or exploring the vibrant underwater world, every moment feels like a gift.||Final Thoughts||Naladhu Private Island is more than just a luxury resort—it is a sanctuary of peace, beauty, and impeccable hospitality. What sets this resort apart is not just its stunning location or exquisite amenities but the people who work tirelessly to create unforgettable experiences for their guests.||Mr. Parker, Mrs. Shaaz, Mohamed, Mico, Ribba, and the entire team—thank you for making our stay so extraordinary. Because of your kindness, professionalism, and genuine care, Naladhu now holds a special place in our hearts. We sincerely hope to return next year and relive the magic once again.||Warmest...

We had a very nice time with perfect weather while visiting Naladhu. ||The Pros:|Naladhu is a quick boat ride from Male with very easy coordination thanks to the resort. We had both a speedboat and small yacht take us to and from the airport which was very nice for the price in comparison to other resorts we looked at. The island itself is very quiet and private which is exactly what we were looking for.||The room we booked was the ocean villa with cabana. After walking around the island we feel this was the best choice as we saw the sunrise each morning, had a very large deck with pool and were overlooking the fish, small sharks and waves crashing in. When we wanted to, we had an assigned cabana right on the lagoon which was great for the few hours we would spend there each day. The room felt updated, very clean and very spacious even for the price it fetched. We felt it was a very good value and a reason to choose this resort||The food was good overall. Breakfast was better than most island resorts we’ve been to, the no menu concept was good for the meal we requested and dinner at the Living Room was good. ||Baan Huraa (Thai) was the best food across the three resorts with the best service. We visited multiple times thanks to Tippu and would have gone again if we could have stayed longer.||The Cons:|While we have only positive things to say about our room selection, overall the property was average in terms of beauty. While private from the rest of the resort, we still looked across at the other bungalows, the maintenance island and some of the more unsightly islands in the near distance. The boat ride to the resort doesn’t give any awe-inspiring moments and at one point made us second guess our choice. The lagoon itself has some good swimming spots but the reef is a bit dead. At times we felt like we were at the lake and not in the Maldives||Aquafanatics was a BIG disappointment. For the prices and brochure we were expecting a lot more in terms of service and experience. We’ve been all over and tried many things similar but this was among the worst. We did swim with the nurse sharks, rays etc. but it felt like we were in a fish fish tank with 100 other people since every other cheap tour was there chumming the waters. The location wasn’t special and was very near to the closest resort to Male. We cancelled all other plans to do future trips and erased thoughts of any dives or fishing excursions during the ride back to the resort. $550 for 50 minutes of uninspiring swimming was a rip-off, even with it being the Maldives.||Lastly, lunch menu at the island needs to be rethought. The staff is very nice as always but the selection and quality of the food was severely lacking for this meal.||Overall, we liked the convenience but would go somewhere further off the path for our next trip to Maldives to get a more authentic experience...
