In August, we planned a trip to the local islands of the Maldives. The second island to visit was Omadhoo, where we then stayed for 4 days. There was very little information about the island on the Internet, so for us it was an island without any special expectations. Upon arrival on the island, we were met at the port, our luggage was taken and we were taken to the Hudhuveli guest house.||This is a small guest house with 6 rooms, which are located on the 1st floor with a courtyard. Conveniently located both to the bikini beach and to the old pier, where we spent a lot of time on the reef.|At the entrance there is a reception desk, a recreation area and a staircase to the terrace on the 2nd floor. While our data was being registered, we were given drinking coconuts, then we were taken to our room. And here I would like to pay tribute to the details that the owners of the guesthouse took care of - starting from the comfortable temperature, the room lighting, the sign on the bed "welcome", the cleanliness and the wonderful aroma that reigned all around. The room itself is standard in size, with a large bed and everything you need for a relaxing holiday (enough hangers for clothes, shelves, a separate hanger for things at the entrance, a set of towels and a bag for going to the beach (very roomy). The bathroom with a shower is spacious, there are dryers, a lot of space on the dressing table. Each room has a table and chairs outside where you can rest or relax. There are large clothes dryers outside. There is a tap where you can rinse your feet after the beach.||Room cleaning was done every day. Breakfasts and dinners were organized on the terrace (2nd floor). The terrace itself is very beautiful, with lots of plants. There is also a cooler with cold and hot water, a kettle, tea, coffee, cream, cocoa - unlimited access at any time of the day or night, there are board games. On the first day, the guest house was fully occupied and the food was organized as a "buffet", with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. In the following days, many guests we left and only we and one other couple remained, then breakfasts and dinners were organized for each of us individually, with serving. It was a very large variety of dishes with very large and tasty portions. Always fresh fruits and unusual drinks of bright colors. All the dishes are very tasty, cooked with soul, special thanks for one of the most delicious "Mas huni" in the Maldives. We always prefer the Maldivian breakfast and were very happy with it.||On the day of our departure to another island, a transfer with a transfer was organized for us and we were taken to the second docking boat, which was surprising for us.||I would like to express my gratitude to Mohamed and his staff for their warmth, attention to detail, responsiveness and at the same time unobtrusiveness. We have something to compare both islands and guest houses with and, definitely, Hudhuveli hit the very heart. We will definitely return in January to this beautiful and already beloved island and to this...
Read moreVery nice experience with Hudhuveli! Me and my wife decided to spend our honeymoon in Madives so we booked 3 hotels on 3 different islands. Today our Maldivian journey ends and I can say that out of these 3 hotels Hudhuveli was definitely the best one. First of all there were zero problems in terms of communication with the hotel (we were given specific instructions regarding speedboat transfer and all our questions were answered by the host - Mohamed). Upon arrival to Omadhoo Mohamed greeted us at the speedboat jetty and our baggage was taken to the hotel by Hudhuveli employee. When we arrived to the hotel we were given coconut drinks. There was a beautiful composition made out of towels and we were given a basket of fruit. Mohamed also gave as a tour of the island. During our stay he answered all of our questions. Our room was cleaned every day (even on the day of our departure). There were some changes done to breakfast every day so it didn't get boring even though we stayed for 9 nights in Hudhuveli. It is worth noting that In Hudhuveli you can enjoy your meals on a nice terrace practically without mosqitos. The AC in the room worked very well. Hotel provided snorkeling gear that we could use for free (and it wasn't partially damaged like in the previous hotel we stayed at) to enjoy Omadhoo house reef (which is very nice by the way). Hotel also provided free tea, coffee and water without limits. When my wife asked for a specific kind of tea it was provided. The day before we left they prepared romantic dinner for us as a parting gift. Our plane back was departing from Male almost at midnight so Mohamed found us a speedboat that was leaving Omadhoo later that day - at 2 pm (other people left the island at 7 am) so we could enjoy our last day partially on Omadhoo instead of spending whole day in Male. Our baggage was taken to the jetty and the whole crew walked with us there and waited for us to get on board. We can say that we really felt taken care of during our stay. It is also worth noting that the island where the hotel is located has a very nice bikini beach, few stores and at least 3 places where you can try tasty local cuisine. During our stay all the locals very friendly. Any cons? None really. If I were to look really hard I could say that there was no TV, mini fridge and safe in the room but you don't really come to Maldives to watch TV. Also, I never really felt like my belongings were in danger since you always know who cleans the room. During our stay we never had the need to use the fridge (cold drinking water was always available on the terrace) and if we did Mohamed said we can use the fridge used by Hudhuveli crew. All in all we both feel that Hudhuveli deserves top rating and we can only highly...

Hudhuveli hotel-maldives is located on the naturally-beautiful tropical island called "Omadhoo" Ari (Alif Dhaal) Atoll, with a super relaxing environment. The Great private beach with 180° panorama view & unforgettable Sunrise & Sunset spot. It definitely a perfect get away that you ever imagine about Maldives. I booked to stay at the hotel for 2 nights 3 days.
For those who are interested in snorkeling like I do, you will definitely love this place. Not only because of white sandy beach, turquoise clear water and amazing local Maldivian life around the island of Omadhoo, but also the rich & untouched marine life with lots of fishes & interesting coastal systems in Indian Ocean. Even baby blacktip reef sharks you can actually see it from the white sand beach. There was a coral reef around the Omadhoo Island. This need no boat trip to go anywhere because they have got an amazing Omadhoo house reef diving spot very near by. It was bursting with sea life - parrot fish, moorish idols, surgeon fish, angel fish, butterfly fish, clown fish, all sorts of trigger fish and even a large sea turtle! Awesome experience.
The speed boat transfer to the Omadhoo Island was convenient & exciting experience with great ocean views. The welcoming from Hudhuveli hotel-maldives that I received was awesome. I was greeted with a fresh coconut, lovely local smile, friendly and accommodating with an amazing special home made local food & drink: They served the standard English breakfast, Lunch with daily reef fishes menu & dinner with variety of local tuna menu. The team at Hudhuveli were super friendly and made sure I enjoyed every meal, so all I had to do was just sit back, relax and enjoy.
Overall, it was an unforgettable experience and a truly relaxing holiday, I have so much appreciation & would recommend any one for an affordable Maldives holiday at hudhuveli. I hope to come back to stay with them again in the near...
