TL;DR - Overall this was a great hotel and a great holiday. I'd rate it as 9/10.
We stayed for eight nights of all inclusive at an ocean facing villa and requested the ground floor in advance. Our villa was spacious and comfortable with direct access to the beach. The reason this is not a 10/10 is what happened on day 3, when the bathroom ceiling started dripping in the middle of the night above one of the cupboards. This caused our clothes stored there to be soaked and we turned off the AC assuming this is the issue during the night.
We called reception in the morning for someone to come in from maintenance and we're told they'll be there in 5-10 minutes four times as we kept chasing them given the bathroom started to flood, but to no avail.
We went to reception and were told maintenance is in our room so we came back to the room, and of course no one was there except the cleaner who also said no one came. We then went to reception again and they called maintenance and said someone is going there now and the issue was already fixed. We again returned to the room, without anyone showing up and the leak continued to flow. We went to reception for the third time asking for the manager and telling them we'd like to move hotels as we wasted our whole morning on this and half of our clothes are now soaked. The manager came with us to our room, basically dragging him, and he said it's fixed which was clearly not true. We told him we're done with them, we had an excursion booked and we told them once we're back we'll sort it out.
When we returned there was a letter waiting for us asking us to come to reception. This time the manager's manager waited for us (Daven) and it became his mission to resolve our situation. We were offered another room without access to the beach and not on the ground floor as we requested and we told them we want a similar room, no need for a bigger one with just the same features and insisted on it. We said we have had a pretty bad experience and if we can't find another room we'll have to leave the hotel. The staff started making calls and within 10 minutes they arranged the presidential suite which has direct access to the beach, on the ground floor. We also asked to send our wet clothes to be washed which they happily obliged (although they charged us for it and when we pointed it out they said it was a mistake and waived the cost).
From here on out, the staff did everything in their power to help us and the service was impeccable. Everyone knew who we were around the hotel and they clearly realized we did not have a great experience and wanted to amend that. The main staff, Daven, Darvish, Raja and Ram were great and helpful offering assistance whenever we needed it. So overall after this morning, the service could not have been any better with very kind members of staff. Furthermore, as our flight was in the evening they kindly offered us a late checkout service with access to the restaurants and bars for free!
Regardless of that, the restaurants and food were great, especially the Beach Grill where we dined every lunch. Govind, Avinash, Kevin and Mehfooza were absolutely lovely and they were always there to help. The food was also great in the Kangan (thank you Pankaj) and Mistique (thank you Ravi) and comparing the food in the hotel to other experiences of all inclusive we had in the past it was by far the best. The bars were great, it was very quiet despite having a lot of kids around in the kids' pool area, the housekeeping was great (thank you Kamina) and the beach was calm and peaceful.
There are great snorkeling areas outside in the middle of the bay which is a five minute walk north on the beach and then beyond the floats and loads of turtles in Trous Aux Biches if you wish to take a boat from the boat house or just a taxi.
So overall the rooms were great other than the leak, the service was great other than that morning, the food was great, the restaurants staff was great, the beach was great and the facilities and shows were very good. So we'd highly...

Absolutely phenomenal hotel right from the moment of arrival to literally getting into the airport transfer back home.
I arrived very early at the hotel (10am) & they allowed me to check into my room (after a 12hr flight) with no extra charge!!
The room:Junior Deluxe suite with ocean view.This room was insanely big, the bed could easily fit us all in (3 adults and 2 babies). Lovely huge bath, walk in shower & even bigger terrace with loungers, sofas and sunbeds!
The restaurants - all phenomenal food & so tasty! Generation portions + the mocktails were insane with such unique and inventive flavours! My fav was the Thai and the Indian. The Tepanyaki was also fabulous.
The buffet for dinner and breakfast never failed and had such amazing selections of fresh food, juices and range of cuisines. Pasta and omelet stations were a must! The tamarind sorbet was also deliciousš. The chefs and restaurant staff were always about greeting guests and so accommodating especially as we had 2 babies with us who needed high chairs and were sat at tables near the food.
The spa was insane and had some fantastic massages and love the serenity rituals at the start which add a lovely touch. Staff again were so lovely.
Hotel grounds were stunning, right on the beach, amazing pool for kids and adults. The sand is a little rough as it's a coral beach and very shallow. Stunning vistas and back drops for sunset ritual cocktails, dinner and just relaxing watching the sun set. Everything was so clean and easily accessible especially with prams.
Gym was state of the art and had great equipment and facilities to burn off all the delicious food!
The staff- The most important thing! Honestly we have never been treated with such kind & genuine hospitality right from the moment you step into the hotel. They know your name, help with reservations, were so accommodating to help with the kids & left lovely treats like free non alcoholic champagne + a birthday cake for my brother.
A special thanks to Ram - for all your help with restaurant reservations & the special birthday dinner set up by the beach. Angelle from breakfast service who gave the kids strawberries everyday. Kevin- our fabulous waiter who sorted the pizzas for the girls and served us at Mystique and was so accommodating all time. Pradeep who served us at the pool and looked after the cabanas for us. Vikash G- restaurant manager who always looked after us at the buffets. Mohit and Vicky from the evening bar and entertainment who let the girls run around during the live music sessions. Pamela who served us the most epic omelettes! All the ground staff and housekeeping who greated us all with such kindness and respect everyday and kept the hotel looking spotless! Mahfooza, Toushita, Visha and the female waitresses who greated us with such love and care at breakfast reception and dinner and always we so friendly to the babies. Vikash D - lead manager who ever so generously and kindly arranged for complimentary massages and also took such kindness to make sure I had eaten dinner before heading off to the airport before a late night flight. He is a great leader and well deserving of the promotion with his acts of kindness. And last but by no means last Jameel Joomun who went out of his way to ensure our whole stay went smoothly and accommodating with 2 babies. He was unbelievable in his dedication, making us feel like family and worked tirelessly to ensure our stay was comfortable. We left feeling we'd made friends and family and he was just unbelievable in every way in his manner and support. Thank you so much to everyone at the Westin Turtle Bay for making our stay one of the most memorable and relaxing stays. You all work so hard and deserve to be rewarded for this. The epitome of highest level of hospitality and customer service right here in a stunning location. And so great for kids too. We hope you are all keeping well and hope to see you again very soon. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently travelled to The Westin with my husband and the stay at this hotel was exceptional. The staff were amazing, the views were excellent the food was fantastic. There was a great range of activities on offer.
When we arrived Keshav checked us in. He made sure our luggage was promptly taken to our room and took the time to bring us fresh pineapple juice, asked us about our flight, built a personal relationship with us and then spoke in depth about the hotel, the facilities and everything that is available to us.
Jameel the general manager is wonderful. Kind and attentive. He took the time to speak to us, build a personal relationship and ensured we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.
Manisha and Mr Raam are wonderful individuals. Always happy and smiling and they take the time out to understand your dietary needs and preferences and then make dinner recommendations accordingly. Nothing is too much. Manisha is a wonderful person, I genuinely felt excited to see her everyday, sheās personable, kind, attentive and she takes the time to get to know you. Not only will she make all your reservations perfectly and with little effort from yourself, she will ensure you have nothing to worry about and then a few days later will remember to ask you about your meal and if you enjoyed the food.
Clemantine who works at the mystique restaurant is completing an internship and is relatively new. I know she misses her family back home and may even feel a little homesick at times. Yet everyday she has a beaming smile, ensures youāre happy, takes the time out to speak to you and offers wonderful service. She is an asset to the Westin Team and I really feel like the team should do something sweet for her to help with the feelings of feeling homesick. She deserves it!
When having breakfast and dinner. There were two ladies in particular who were AMAZING! Renoo and Artee; their hospitality was excellent, they went above and beyond to ensure we were well catered for and ok. I had a reaction on my legs to the mosquitos and Renoo regularly told me to apply aloe vera and checked up on me to ensure I was ok. Everyday, without fail when I arrived for breakfast. You can really tell that these people care about you. Artee was also excellent, she was so sweet, caring and wanted to ensure we had everything we needed and that were well looked after. Nothing was too much for her. She went so above and beyond for me and my husband.
My husband booked a special meal overlooking the sea and Doomun the manager at mystique took care of us. He ensured all our dietary needs were met. He ensured the setting was perfect, ensured our food was exquisite and took several photos of us to capture the memory. Doomun was great and took the time again to ensure we were happy and our needs were met. Our package included champagne but due to medical reasons I couldnāt consume alcohol, he happily swapped this for drinks of our choice. On the night my husband and I wanted to order food from two different restaurants, he also accommodated this easily and ensured that the food came out together, hot and in time. The service truly was excellent. He built a personal relationship with us, got to know us and offered exemplary service. He was wonderful.
Bryan was also wonderful, he regularly checked-in to ensure we were ok, that our taxi's were booked. Helped with our bags and ensured we had everything we needed. He made sure we were happy, comfortable and having a great time.
Mohit was wonderful and also remembered key details like the fact that it was my birthday. He wished me a happy belated birthday when he saw me and ensured I had a wonderful stay. And helped my husband to arrange a romantic surprise meal for me. He was wonderful!
The manager at the seasonal taste restaurant also went out his way to cook meals of our choice to cater to our vegetarian needs one evening as the menu on offer on the day of dining didnāt offer vegetarian food of our liking. The portions were great. Nothing was too...
