This hotel is not listed on Booking.com or any of the other hotel booking sites. This is a shame because this is the best located hotel in Aguascalientes. If you stay in one of the rooms I have listed, the view is unbelievable. We were in room 110. Get it if you can.||As well, because of the way this hotel was done, the noise is limited.||And, finally, the price is fantastic.||Problem? Yes, one. Parking is like 2 blocks away. So what you do is leave your bagages at the hotel and then park the car. No big deal. Also, parking is reimbursed.||Situation: On the main plaza, the cathedral to your right, the palacio nacional in front. You won’t get any better. People are friendly and helpful. Museums abound in this area. Restaurants and shops also. At the side, an OXXO. In front, a bank. The street at the side is pedestrian.||The rooms are old but have a lot of what you need for comfort. This is not a 5* hotel so don’t expect too much. But it is not a 5* price so value is there.||Note: Internet worked only downstairs at the reception. This might have been fixed.||I highly...
Read moreThe Hotel Imperial is an in an old historic building. The rooms are a bit tired, and could do with some maintenance; but they are clean and spacious. The service is young and friendly. The hotel is situated on the main plaza, in a perfect location. The bed had good white sheets which were changed every day. The towels were good and white ( not threadbare) and changed every day. The room was properly cleaned every day. The floors are tiled. The ceiling fan did not work but there was a portable fan in the room. There is a nice communal area where there is wifi. We had a view of the cathedral & the plaza from our room. It was good value. Our room with a king bed was 480 pesos per night. A room with a double bed was 350 pesos per night. They had rooms with more than one bed, up to (I think) one suite that...
Read moreInexpensive and well located. We were expecting a very basic room, but this place falls short of the minimum. We were put in a windowless room surrounding a common gathering area. Needless to say, it could get extremely noisy when people congregated. Basic upkeep could improve things about 30%. For instance, in the bathroom, the bar of the towel bar was missing, the cracked and yellowed mirror could be replaced, and the sink hot water handle just spun around (ie: no hot water). Shower had poor pressure and water was barely warm. Toilet flushed poorly. Light switches had trouble engaging and sometimes flickered. I would not recommend this hotel, especially to people who have certain disabilities or mobility issues, as there is no elevator, and it’s quite a few steps up to any...
