Don’t stay at this hotel. My family unfortunately was almost forced 20 years ago to get the time share membership at this hotel, and back in the day it used to be very good, and was our favorite destination for a family vacation. It has sadly been going from bad to worse since it almost went bankrupt. This time I came, Sergio at front desk was very rude and he even assigned 3 adults in a 1 bed room… Many years ago people used to be very friendly and welcoming and always smiling and doing everything they could to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Nowadays they don’t even say welcome or greet you when you first check in. The same bad temper continues all over the hotel. You have to make a line for minutes to wait for a gulf cart to take you to your room, and Jose and Anibal, the ones in charge of the gulf carts at night, are so rude to the guests, they even started arguing with my mom because they preferred to give a man a cart instead of her, who was carrying a baby and was also first in line. These people not only don’t have any idea of what hospitality means, but they are rude and misogynistic to their guests! I’m still staying here, since I booked many days here, so I’ll keep updating as this unfortunate experience continues. I’m sure there will be...
Read moreExcellent all-inclusive resort in the Los Cabos corridor, but much closer to Cabo San Lucas than to San Jose de Cabo. The resort is moderate and not overwhelming in size, leans into traditional Mexican aesthetics, and has plenty of choices in terms of restaurants and places to spread your time. We have a huge three bedroom family suite on the sixth floor at the upper limit of the resort, and the view over the ocean is spectacular. It’s pricey to be sure, but the value was strong when booking on Costco Travel. I found at least this part of Los Cabos to be much more isolated and feeling compared to other resort areas I have been to in the Caribbean and Central America. That being said, if you like to stick to the resort, this is a...
