Live Aqua Private Residences Los Cabos — Hotel in Baja California Sur

We enjoyed our stay very much. 4 of us traveled (2 couples) and had a 2 bedroom. The rooms are exquisite. They are large, comfortable, spacious, have everything we could need. We used our private jacuzzi on the porch every day. It was always clean and we could easily turn on the spa bubbles and adjust the temperature. The room service was incredible, especially the beef tenderloin. The house keeping went above and beyond. Our servers were always very kind and attentive. Our concierge, Ricardo, did a great job helping us book our spa experiences and helped us with whatever we needed. There was always someone able to drive us to the Grand Fiesta Americana down the street. We love how quiet and small this resort is. It is not filled with loud music or drunk people or annoying activities. If you want to relax, it is perfect. If you want activities or like the loud party environment, this place is probably too boring for you. If you want to bring family and friends and use the full kitchen and laundry facilities in your apartment, you can. There are only a few downsides: the beach is not right there on the property. You have to take a golf cart down to the sister property, Grand Fiesta Americana. (You can also walk.) There is also a lot of noisy construction in Cabo in general. That cannot be controlled by the hotel, but it was distracting. I never think about smells when it comes to hotels, but they have wonderful smells. They have large TVs and an xbox. You can borrow a controller to play, which was wonderful for our husbands. We enjoyed the spa over at the GFA. I particularly loved the masseuse named Lili, she gave me an incredible deep tissue massage! This was our second time at Live Aqua in Cabo. We stayed Sept. 26-30th. Everything about our stay was magical!! A big thank you to Paolo, Both Maria's, Berzain, Daniela, and Joxan. You ALL were AMAZING! Upon check-in we were greeted with the yummiest Margarita I've ever had. We were advised of all the amenities on-site as well as those at the larger resort Americana. We also received a guided tour of both properties. The room was gorgeous, super clean with a great view even though we were on the ground floor. It's called private residences for a reason. It felt like we were in our own private villa. The property is incredible!! The food was super expensive, 3 fish tacos about $50 USD, but they were so delicious, it was worth it! We loved that our concierge requests were handled via WhatsApp and responses were always within 10min. It's also in a pretty good location as it was about a 15min ride to downtown Cabo. My family has been coming to Fiesta Americana for over 20 years, and started staying at Live Aqua when it first opened. We have chosen to stay at Live Aqua every year for our family vacation since it opened. The rooms, food, and overall accommodations are very nice. While the service is nice, we found room service to be rather annoying this time which is a first for us. They rang our doorbell many times with the do not disturb on, and one of those times was at 6am. The hot tubs that are on many of the balconies do not work well. Most of them don’t heat up and water levels are always low. This time, the hot tub leaked onto the balcony which is why we got the 6am visit, but they didn’t say why they were here. If you are going to wake someone up at 6am with their do no disturb on, please make sure you explain exactly why. I tried ignoring the first ring, but they rang again.
