This place was amazing! Every morning they bring you the most delicious homemade fig bread with a fresh yogurt parfait for breakfast and there's a nespresso machine in your room for coffee. It's a very peaceful and private environment and close to many great restaurants and wineries. The bed is so comfy and the pillows are soft and fluffy. The bathroom soap and shampoo products smell so good and there are robes and house slippers to lounge in during your stay. There's an indoor/outdoor shower, which we very much enjoyed! There's even a bluetooth speaker if you want to listen to music. My husband and I came here for a wedding nearby, and it was the perfect spot! We drove down from LA and our parking space was right next to our room so it was easy to load our things in and out. We are so grateful to have found this hidden Gem in Mexico! Will definitely...

I understand policies, but I also believe in basic human kindness. We had to cancel our stay at Casa Michaus due to a deeply personal tragedy. While we knew our booking was non-refundable, we hoped the management would show some flexibility given the circumstances. Perhaps a voucher for a future stay? Instead, our request was met with a rigid refusal.

It's disheartening to experience such a lack of understanding from a business that claims to prioritize customer experience. A little compassion would have gone a long way. We arrived for the first time in The Valle De Guadelupe bumping down a dirt road unsure what to expect. When the gate to Casa Michaus opened, we were very pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful, modern compound with a pool overlooking an expansive view. Our room was beautifully appointed in a modern, earthy, yet sophisticated style so unique to Latin America. A wonderful breakfast composed of a delicious steaming brioche, great coffee, and yogurt with fresh fruit was brought to our door in the morning. Our host was warm and charming.
