Stayed in room 14. It’s an older hotel located 1 block from the Malecon. The rooms aren’t fancy but how much time will you spend in your room. Beds and pillows confortable. Large bathroom with shelves/closet at one end (I loved this part) and the bathroom part at the other. Water pressure was good and had plenty of hot water. Room cleaned/straightened and fresh towels every day. I agree with others who posted about breakfast. Cereal, bread, cookies and coffee. Great for an 8 year old. Maybe a piece of fruit, couple of yogurts or donuts from around the corner. Parking was no issue. Security every night and 2 on the weekend. Ice available from security. Our A/C was quiet and worked really well. A mini fridge would be awesome in the room but there isn’t one. There is a coffee pot. Noise not an issue either. There is a restaurant on premises but it is run separately from hotel and open evenings (Wens-Sat during slow season). Food is good and service was great. This is San Felipe. If you want high end go a different route but if you are looking for a base where you can sleep, shower and leave your stuff Langosta...

We're going to stay there again, this time with my sons in tow, for this year's fest. The rooms are spotlessly clean, well-cared for, and right where you wanna be, walking distance to the malecon (the downtown waterfront district, lined with restaurants and stalls right off of the beach, where all the action is!) Is it a five star hotel? Heck no! But, it's clean, comfortable, and safe, and the staff really go out of their way to make you happy. The showers are improved by taking the shower head off...but this place is very authentic, and very comfortable for those of us who are just folks, and not into the fancy stuff. I recommend them highly, if you're headed to the...
