Quinta Estrella B&b — Hotel in Baja California

I can't say enough about this wonderful B & B. It has 3 rooms, and was very comfortable, clean, and peaceful. The owners, Kirke and her husband Francisco are very sweet and hospitable. They do everything to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Kirke is also a great cook and she went out of her way to provide a Gluten free breakfast for me. You can sit inside or outside on their beautiful patio for breakfast. Our room was very large, comfortable and decorated beautifully. The bathroom was huge with separate shower and a large bathtub with double sinks. They even had a small basket with mints, lotion, Qtips, shaving cream, Bandaids, etc. a great added touch! They also had shampoo and conditioner in the shower. The water bottle and piece of chocolate at the bedside was another cute surprise. We were so relaxed there we didn't want to leave. The entire home is gorgeous.||Thanks Kirke for everything! We can't wait...

Host, Kirke, deserves more than 5 star rating. Somehow the booking.com system double booked us with someone else, so by the time we arrived here, they didn't have a room for us. Kirke tried her best to call different places to find a room to no avail, being July the 4th weekend. Understanding the no vacancy issue around the town and that we were about to get stranded, she offered one of her family's room for free, which we gladly accepted. She was one of the friendliest people I've ever met and I was so grateful I met her. Despite being stressed from the overbooking nightmare, people like her can leave such an everlasting impact on the whole country you visit as much as crooked merchants and mean citizens do the opposite way. I just can't thank her enough for her warm hospitality...

This house sits beautifully between vineyards and amazing landscapes. The rooms wrap around an open and naturally illuminated common area with big couches, artsy paintings and tons of material to read. Kirke and Francisco are the best hosts, not only the rooms are impeccably clean and carefully decorated but the house alone offers great areas to chit-chat or enjoy the calm of a delicious sunset with a cup tea or coffee.
